Boom Collaboration has partnered with Westcoast to distribute its video conferencing hardware products in the UK.

IT distributor Westcoast will supply the full Boom Collaboration range, encompassing 4K PTZ conferencing cameras, video bars, personal devices and audio speakers, to over 5,000 active resellers across the UK. Boom’s products cover all user needs and room-size environments, and it says its solutions are future-proof with technology to “stand the test of time”.

Fredrik Hörnkvist, Boom Collaboration Founder, said:

Westcoast provides us with the perfect platform to officially launch the brand into the UK and open the door to sustained sales success – for all parties and, most importantly, their resellers. We want to offer something a little different both in terms of our products and how we do business. We are not another ‘me-too’ brand.”

Boom Collaboration was formed in 2020 by Founders Hörnkvist and Holli Hulett to disrupt the video conferencing hardware space and produce high-value advanced solutions.

The Texas-based business is growing rapidly. It showcases a comprehensive conferencing portfolio and operates in 30 countries with ambitions to extend to 20 more, having added 12 new markets so far in 2023. Its operation is powered by the development of four logistics centres that cover every corner of the global market.

“We are young and fresh with new ideas, backed by years of personal experience that already makes us experts in this field,” Hulett said. “We are not afraid to stand out, be bold, brave and loud and do things a little differently. A disrupter to take on the field. It’s about offering the highest levels of support to resellers through the distribution channel and going the extra mile with Westcoast. We don’t want to just stay in the middle lane.”

The Boom UNO vertical video bar, MAGNA 4K PTZ camera and GEMINI expandable audio innovation are among the range of devices available through Westcoast, as well as the GOJO multi-camera controller.

“Our vision is based on creating better meetings,” Hörnkvist added. “We offer future-proof solutions with solid components and technology to stand the test of time. We cover all user and room-size environments(…) Joining forces with a huge industry powerhouse like Westcoast will add further fuel to the fire and enable us to penetrate deep into the UK and wider international markets. This is a major step forward in our growth strategy. Boom is beginning to boom.”

What UC Today Said About the Boom UNO Video Bar

UC Today reviewed the Boom UNO video bar earlier this year and was enthusiastic about the all-in-one conferencing solution. The small plug-and-play device includes a portable form factor and plug-and-play design, so employees can set up and launch meetings from home offices, huddle rooms, and traditional conference spaces.

“With a price point of over £250, the Boom Uno conferencing camera is a little more expensive than some of the basic webcams on the market today, but it does offer a great deal of value for money,” UC Today wrote in its review. “After all, this product isn’t just a camera, it’s a speakerphone, microphone system, and video conferencing tool, all packaged into one neat product(…) For companies in search of a powerful all-in-one system for video conferencing, the Boom Uno is a phenomenal tool.”
