Microsoft has added Lenovo, MAXHUB, Shure and AudioCodes as new Device Ecosystem Platform (MDEP) partners.
The MDEP, based on the Android Open-Source Project (AOSP), aims to empower device manufacturers and developers to produce advanced, secure, and dependable solutions. Supported by Microsoft’s dedication to trust, accessibility, and streamlined management, MDEP seeks to provide a firm foundation for innovation in device design and functionality.
Leading vendors Lenovo, MAXHUB, Shure, and AudioCodes join Barco, Yealink, and Jabra as MDEP partners.

More Specifics On The New Partnerships
Microsoft outlines that AudioCodes provides an extensive selection of Teams-certified meeting room devices and IP phones designed to deliver excellent call quality, reliability, and smooth collaboration for an immersive Teams meeting experience. By partnering with MDEP, AudioCodes aspires to enhance the security of its Teams-certified devices with advanced Android protection measures.
“The integration of MDEP into our MTRs and Teams-native phone portfolio is yet another major milestone in our longstanding collaboration with Microsoft unified communications solutions,” added Nati Davidi, VP of Devices Business Line at AudioCodes. “In 2025, we plan to migrate our flagship RXV200 MTR bundles for medium to large rooms, along with our entire IP phone portfolio, to the latest MDEP version, which will enable our customers to enjoy enhanced Android security and flexibility.”
On Lenovo, Microsoft affirms how it leverages its hardware innovation and global presence to strengthen the MDEP. Microsoft adds that Lenovo is famous for creating secure and easily manageable devices and is set to drive the development of the next generation of Teams-enabled solutions.
Meanwhile, MAXHUB is described as partnering with MDEP to bring cutting-edge meeting room solutions to market. Combining advanced displays with unified communication solutions, Microsoft asserts that MAXHUB aims to deliver immersive and intuitive experiences that enhance collaboration and foster innovation in today’s hybrid work environments.
Finally, Shure’s collaboration with MDEP seeks to elevate the quality of collaboration on the Teams platform. Microsoft says the partnership aims to ensure that Shure devices, including IntelliMix Room Software, address top security standards while delivering excellent audio performance for Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTRs). Leveraging its expertise in high-quality, streamlined conferencing solutions, Shure aims to provide clear and reliable comms tools for meeting spaces, transforming the meeting experience for users across industries.
