Slack has partnered with Mastercard to bring Mastercard Business cardholders a special offer of 25 percent off upgrades to its Slack Pro and Business+ plans.

This savings discount of up to $150 is only available to cardholders that received their Mastercard Business card from institutions participating in Mastercard Easy Savings.

Mastercard Easy Savings is a platform that brings together global offers for small-business owners to grow their businesses through rebates on every day business expenses.

Jane Prokop, Global Head of Small and Medium Enterprises at Mastercard, commented on the new business partnership: “Through Mastercard Easy Savings, we’re making it easier for business owners to access value-added services and products tailored for every stage of their growth journey.

“We are thrilled to join forces with Slack to unlock savings that will bring more power to small teams and support SMEs everywhere with the jumpstart they need to succeed.”

Prokop added: “Mastercard believes that when small business wins, everyone wins.

“Understanding that small-business teams wear many hats, we’re passionate about providing resources that fuel productivity and drive operational efficiency.”

According to a press release by the business messaging app Slack, more than 50 million cardholders could be eligible, provided they are also new to Slack, in order to unlock a quarter off of its prices for ordinary premium membership plans.

To gain access to this offer, Mastercard Business cardholders simply need to go to the Mastercard Easy Savings website to find out more and activate the discount.

What Slack Can Offer

Slack lists some of the key benefits of its paid plans as unlimited message history, unlimited audio and video calls, unlimited video and audio clip recording, unlimited no-code workflows, app integrations, list and document collaboration, working with external organisations via Slack Connect, user management capabilities, and data exports for all messages.

That’s not all, however. Slack helps to keep you organised and enables information to flow easily from your inbox into messages and channels.

If you just want an impromptu meeting with select participants, you can quickly and easily create a ‘huddle’. Alternatively, if you co-workers are away you can record a clip for them to view when they are back.

Slack has a huge ‘App Directory’ of over 2,600 third-party apps that you can add and utilise via Slack channels, messages, and commands.

It can help to get rid of repetitive manual processes and free up your workers to focus on more important tasks by providing its users with access to its Workflow Builder.

Peter Doolan, Chief Customer Officer at Slack, believes that Slack can add value to Mastercard customer businesses: “We envision Slack to be a small business’s home for growth, allowing teams to work and collaborate more efficiently, expand access to internal knowledge and information, and get more value from their tech stacks.

“We’re pleased to expand our partnership with Mastercard and are confident that, together, we’ll be able to provide significant value for the growing business community and help these businesses thrive in an increasingly digital world.”

Finally, Slack has its own technology that can be leveraged throughout its channels and workspaces to get summaries and recaps, generate answers to company-related questions, and search through public conversations.

Last month, Slack teamed up with Box to deliver Box AI in Slack, which is now available for joint customers.
