The company behind the pioneering Call2Teams solution for Microsoft Office, Qunifi, have announced a new collaboration with Vonage. The partnership will allow the two companies to deliver a fully-integrated calling experience for Microsoft Teams to customers in the Vonage Business Communications community. The partnership with Vonage will also expand on Qunifi’s existing strategy of working with a wide selection of cloud unified communication and PBX providers to deliver solutions for the growing demand for Microsoft Teams integration.

Microsoft Teams has been evolving over the years to provide users with a single, aligned environment for business communication and collaboration. With the integration from Call2Teams, Vonage customers will be able to leverage the audio Microsoft Teams calling feature using their existing Vonage number. The service will also allow them to add all the features and services that Vonage’s UC solution provides too, with Microsoft Teams as a bolt-on service.

An Exciting Opportunity for Customers

Today’s businesses are growing increasingly excited about the concept of having a single pane of glass environment for their collaboration and communication needs. Microsoft Teams could be the perfect environment for many companies looking to simplify and enhance their communication stack, particularly in a world where so many people are already familiar with Office 365.

According to the Co-Founder and CEO of Call2Teams, Mark Herbert, customers are thrilled to be using Microsoft Teams for collaboration but adding the calling feature to Teams has been a disruptive experience up until now. By working with Vonage, Call2Teams has been able to create a simple per-user solution for the Vonage Communications service. This means that companies can easily get the benefits of Microsoft Teams, while still leveraging the Vonage tools they already have.

The Call2Teams cloud service simply connects Vonage to the Microsoft Teams environment, with no need for any additional software or hardware investment from Vonage customers. The dial pad appears within Microsoft Teams, so that customers can start using it instantly.

This new relationship with Call2Teams will ensure that Vonage customers can keep on benefiting from the features and services that they love most.
