Leading providers of managed services and video cloud solutions for federal government, large enterprise, and healthcare customers, Yorktel recently announced that Ken Scaturro would be joining the company. The brand, which helps customers to integrate video into their day-to-day operations, appointed Ken Scaturro as Chief Revenue Officer, responsible for overseeing customer success as well as global sales and marketing.

Yorktel is hoping that with more than 25 years of experience, Scaturro will be able to help drive the company towards its vision to deliver exceptional enterprise-wide video communication services. As the CRO, Ken will be responsible for boosting growth and synergy within the Yorktel sales and marketing strategy, and he’ll be reporting regularly to the CEO on the health and performance of the company as it strives to meet revenue targets.

The Yorktel decision to bring Scaturro into the fold is part of a larger expansion of the business, which the leaders hope will improve the marketing and sales efforts of the company. Yorktel wants to enhance their focus on crucial market segments, including the government and healthcare sectors. As part of this move, the company also announced that Executive Vice President for Marketing and Sales, Greg Douglas, will now be focusing exclusively on Government Markets.

The CEO of Yorktel, Ron Gaboury, noted that the company is thrilled that they can utilise the considerable talents and expertise of both Scaturro and Douglas as they continue their path to success. Greg is well positioned to serve the government sector, and Scaturro has the background knowledge and innovative attitude that’s sure to drive more profitability for the business.

Indeed, Mr. Scaturro has already held various positions of power at companies like the Inktomi Corporation, Applied Network Solutions, Marconi Communications, Lockhead Martin, and Booz. As CRO, Scaturro will be returning to Yorktel after some time apart, as he previously served as the Vice President for marketing and sales between the years of 2002 and 2011.

Expanding Focus on Specific Markets

Over the years, Yorktel has built its success by focusing heavily on specific sectors, such as government sales. However, recently, the company has begun to hold a stronger position in the healthcare industry, thanks to the launch of their Univago Healthcare Edition platform. The company’s divisions for Enterprise Sales, Strategic Account Sales, and Strategic Alliance have also begun to see significant success with the addition of various new accounts.
