Zoom has partnered with the pioneering AI-powered sales execution business Outreach to elevate customer communications.

Outreach, a sales execution platform designed for AI-powered revenue workflows, has introduced an integration with Zoom Mail, a component of Zoom’s AI-first work platform. This new integration, Outreach for Zoom Mail, allows revenue teams to seamlessly connect Outreach with Zoom Mail and Zoom Calendar via the Zoom Workplace app, aspiring to enhance workflow efficiency and collaboration.

Brendan Ittelson, Chief Ecosystem Officer at Zoom, said:

Revenue teams need a unified platform that simplifies workflows and helps them win consistently. In many cases, they’re forced to juggle multiple disconnected tools that only slow them down. That’s why we’re excited to team up with Outreach to help sellers get more done with less effort across the revenue cycle.”

With this integration, sales professionals can seamlessly sync emails to Outreach and send emails directly from Zoom Mail. Additionally, they can connect their Zoom and Outreach calendars, enabling automatic event synchronisation and streamlined meeting scheduling.

“Outreach’s integration with Zoom is pivotal for revenue teams aiming to increase sales productivity,” said Abhijit Mitra, CEO of Outreach. “The combination of our AI plus Zoom’s AI-first work platform will enable reps to spend less time on toggling between platforms and instead focus on building meaningful relationships with customers.”

The Outreach for Zoom Mail integration is now available in private beta for customers, and both companies say it will be generally available within the next few months.

More Specifics on Outreach with Zoom Mail’s Feature Set

Zoom and Outreach stress that the integration brings powerful tools directly into the Zoom Mail interface, allowing sales teams to engage with customers more efficiently while preserving consistency and impact in their messaging.

A standout feature is email templates, which simplify email creation with ready-to-use formats. Sales professionals can also include attachments within templates, making it easy to share critical documents or marketing materials without additional steps. The app offers snippets for rapid, consistent messaging, allowing users to insert pre-written content with just a click.

To help ensure no prospect engagement slips through the cracks, the integration includes email reminders, notifying users about sent emails that require follow-up. Additionally, sales reps can share their availability seamlessly within emails, adjusting time zones and language settings to accommodate prospects in different regions.

The integration also includes tracking and performance insights. With open-and-click tracking, teams can measure engagement levels and refine their approach based on real-time data.

Both companies emphasise that embedding these capabilities directly within Zoom Mail, Outreach, and Zoom empowers sales teams to work smarter, not harder—intending to save time, improve communication, and drive better results.

What Else Has Zoom Been Up To Recently?

At Enterprise Connect last week, Zoom unveiled a swathe of new agentic AI Companion innovations to elevate productivity and collaboration.

Zoom is expanding its AI Companion capabilities across its entire platform, including Zoom Meetings, Zoom Team Chat, Zoom Docs, Zoom Phone, Zoom Whiteboard, Zoom Contact Center, and industry-specific solutions. These enhancements introduce advanced AI-driven skills, intelligent agents, and new models to improve efficiency, deliver high-quality outcomes, and strengthen user engagement.

Additionally, Zoom also announced that its Workplace for Clinicians solution is now in public beta, with general availability planned for the end of this month.

Zoom emphasises that Workplace for Clinicians is designed to optimise clinical workflows, enabling doctors, nurses, and practitioners to focus more on patient care and engagement rather than administrative tasks and documentation. Moreover, Zoom has introduced the select beta of Custom AI Companion for Healthcare, which will allow healthcare IT decision-makers to tailor AI Companion experiences using the forthcoming Zoom AI Studio.

Meanwhile, last month, before Mitel’s financial woes became apparent via its filing for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy, the business and Zoom rolled out their shared AI-powered UC and collaboration platform.

Expanding on their partnership announced last autumn, Zoom and Mitel have introduced a hybrid cloud solution that integrates Zoom Workplace and Zoom AI Companion with Mitel’s leading communications platforms, including its telephony solutions. This collaboration combines Mitel’s advanced telephony capabilities with Zoom’s modern collaboration tools, delivering a seamless and flexible communication experience for businesses.
