Zoom and Swoogo have partnered to deliver an advanced hybrid events solution.
With Swoogo’s hybrid events offering becoming generally available on the Zoom App Marketplace, this collaboration combines Zoom Event’s virtual platform with Swoogo’s in-person event management technology, enabling event organisers to expand their audience reach.
John Beckmann, Head of Zoom Events, said:
Hybrid events are here to stay, and it’s critical that event organizers design experiences that make both in-person and virtual attendees feel equally connected to the event. By incorporating Swoogo’s customizable event management capabilities with Zoom’s digital platform, our customers can enjoy seamless planning and hosting, even for the most complex hybrid events.”
Embedded within Zoom Events, Zoom’s AI-powered assistant, AI Companion, enables event organisers to generate content, including event and session descriptions, dynamically. It also aids in crafting communications such as emails and attendee call-to-actions and assists participants in composing chat messages in the event lobby.
Additionally, in the near future, event organisers can leverage AI Companion to generate text and images for registration pages and emails, streamlining processes and saving valuable time and resources.
“The hybrid capabilities in Zoom’s platform are an exciting extension of the tools we offer event organisers to engage virtual audiences in meaningful and impactful ways,” added Sam Harkness, SVP of Partnerships at Swoogo. “We’re committed to ensuring event organisers can engage all attendees whether they can travel to an event or not.”
More Details on the Collaboration
Integrating Zoom Events and Swoogo, accessible directly through the Zoom Marketplace, empowers organisers to elevate events and streamline workstreams. Whether orchestrating simple or elaborate events, event organisers often juggle multiple workstreams, including event logistics, attendee registration, and event communications, demanding agile and scalable technology.
Capabilities that fulfil those needs include being able to connect a Swoogo event website and registration flow with Zoom Events, straightforwardly capture signups in Swoogo with customised registration paths, direct virtual registrants seamlessly into Zoom Events to deliver an engaging hybrid event experience, and efficiently create speaker profiles and sessions within Swoogo and seamlessly sync them with Zoom Events, saving valuable time for event staff.
Additionally, the collaboration enables users to streamline event communications within Swoogo, ensuring consistent branding and messaging across all channels. They can also merge Zoom Events links directly with email communications and use the Zoom Events mobile app to connect in-person and remote attendees.
