IGEL has been working with Microsoft for the past two years to develop new Teamsβ capabilities to improve employee collaboration.Β Β

The partnership between IGEL and Microsoft began in November 2019 when it received membership as an early adopter of the Azure Virtual Desktop partner program.Β Β
IGEL was recognised by Microsoft as a key Linux device partner, and in 2020, IGEL launched the first Linux client supporting Azure Virtual Desktop. Microsoft then co-founded the IGEL Ready technology partner program.Β Β
Since then, Microsoft and IGEL have worked together to create high-performance Teams experiences on IGEL-OS endpoints to match the quality of Windows endpoints.Β Β
Last year, IGEL awarded Microsoft the IGEL Ready Partner of the Year for 2021 award.Β Β
