Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise (ALE) and EPOS have partnered to offer a range of certified headsets and conference devices for ALE’s hardware and software.

New certifications have been added to the 360, 460, 560, and 660 models in EPOS’ Adapt headset range, as well as the Expand 80 speakerphone.

ALE and EPOS said they carried out compatibility tests to “guarantee the most effective interoperability” between the devices and ALE’s softphones and desk phones.

Theis Mørk, Vice President of Product Management, Enterprise Solutions, at EPOS, said: “We are thrilled to announce further certifications of our leading audio solution for our strategic alliance partner Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise.

“It is an important step for us to provide a full portfolio of high-quality products for the modern workers”

The EPOS devices were tested for acoustic quality and call control functionality, and also support additional features such as answering calls, muting and volume control.

Samuel Tourbot, Head of the Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise Cloud Business Engine, said: “Our main objective has always been to deliver intuitive, simple and convenient communication solutions to our customers.

“The partnership with EPOS is making our mission even more tangible than before, delivering the capability to use extended call control features directly from their hardware.”
