Nestlé has modernised its Portugal HQ in Lisbon by collaborating with Alfalite to install a 72-panel UHD LED collaboration screen.
Alfalite, which describes itself as the only European LED screen manufacturer, claims that this project represents a significant milestone in incorporating advanced technology into Nestlé’s corporate spaces, affirming its dedication to innovation and excellence.
Santiago Caro, International Development Manager at Alfalite, said:
We are very proud to have contributed to the digital transformation of Nestlé Portugal with our UHD FinePix AlfaCOB 1.8 screens. This installation not only highlights our commitment to excellence and innovation but also demonstrates the trust that large corporations like Nestlé place in our technological solutions.”
Alfalite outlines that the state-of-the-art LED solution aims to deliver exceptional image quality, ensuring sharp and precise visuals that are perfect for presentations and the display of informational content during corporate events. The screen blends seamlessly with the facilities’ contemporary design, intending to enhance the value of Nestlé’s work environment.
The project was facilitated through a partnership with GTC – Sistemas Digitais de Video, Alfalite’s collaborator in Portugal. GTC managed the supply and installation of the panels, aspiring to maintain the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
More Specifics On The Installation’s Tech
The LED screen installation, based in Nestlé’s offices’ Multipurpose Room, comprises 72 combined Alfalite UHD FinePix AlfaCOB 1.8 panels, forming an imposing 7.20 x 2-meter screen.
The UHD Finepix AlfaCOB panel is specifically designed for mission-critical environments such as control rooms, crisis cabinets, and executive rooms, as well as for broadcast environments and virtual sets that require fine pitch or micro-LEDs.
The new AlfaCOB protection enhances these modules with greater durability (over 100,000 hours), a lower failure rate (PFR < 5 PPM annually), an eye-catching 175-degree horizontal and vertical viewing angle, and improved contrast, colourimetry, and image uniformity.
Alfalite says that its LED panels with AlfaCOB technology offer superior electrostatic discharge protection (ESD > 10kV), better thermal dissipation parameters, and excellent resistance to impacts (≥10Kg), liquids (≥IP65), chemicals, and fire (compliant with UL94-0). Additionally, they feature anti-glare properties and improved mechanical precision between modules (<0.5mm). Alfalite suggests they also present the shortest repair time on the market.
Through this collaboration, Alfalite aims to solidify its position as a leader in LED display technology, drive growth in the corporate sector, and reaffirm its ability to meet the needs of the most demanding clients.
