Neat and Barco have partnered to elevate the meeting room experience through seamless, sophisticated video conferencing.

ClickShare, which Barco pitches as the market leader in wireless presentation and conferencing, has partnered with Neat, renowned for its advanced video devices that cultivate natural, equitable, and engaging meetings. The Neat Bar 2 and Neat Bar Pro have received ClickShare certification, allowing meeting room users to connect and enjoy an excellent wireless conferencing experience smoothly.

Dan Root, Head of Global Strategic Alliances at Barco, said:

We are proud to welcome Neat to ClickShare’s premier alliance partner ecosystem. This partnership represents a shared commitment to redefining modern workplace collaboration, ensuring that every meeting is a smooth, high-quality experience.”

Neat and Barco stress that the collaboration is a natural fit, as both companies share a commitment to delivering seamless, user-friendly video conferencing solutions that empower enterprises and small to medium-sized businesses worldwide to connect and collaborate.

The Neat Bar 2 and Neat Bar Pro are now ClickShare certified for both the ClickShare Present and ClickShare Conference range, delivering a seamless, end-to-end collaboration experience for customers of both brands.

Barco and Neat outline that ClickShare enhances interoperability and flexibility in meeting room setups. It allows users to start video calls from their laptops while leveraging Neat’s high-quality camera and audio. With the ClickShare CX-50 2nd generation’s automatic switching, meetings transition effortlessly, ensuring a smooth and intuitive user experience.

“Certification partner programs are essential to guaranteeing compatibility between devices, ensuring a seamless experience for users,” added Sherri Pipala, Vice President of Global Alliances at Neat. “This partnership reflects our key values of providing a simple, flexible, and high-quality video meeting experience for modern workspaces.”

What Has Barco Been Up To Recently?

At ISE earlier this month, Barco showcased its enhanced ClickShare solution, demonstrating the new Microsoft Teams BYOD experience for users.

These improvements include automatic peripheral selection and speaker attribution, creating a more seamless and personalised meeting experience in BYOD environments.

Barco and Microsoft reaffirm their commitment to optimising the meeting experience through a streamlined user flow. With Microsoft’s latest updates, joining a Teams meeting is now more intuitive and tailored across different room setups. These enhancements are fully integrated into ClickShare’s workflows, further improving ease of use and collaboration.

What About Neat?

This month, Neat launched a new Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) solution—Neat Select.

Neat Select is designed to adapt Neat’s solutions to today’s multi-device work environment, where employees often use personal or varied devices for work.

The solution offers a straightforward plug-and-play experience, allowing users to connect their laptops to Neat Bar via HDMI and USB-C cables or to Neat Bar 2 with a single USB-C connection. This flexibility ensures better interoperability in communication setups, accommodating users with older devices or those from different brands.

Neat Select supports multiple video conferencing platforms, allowing businesses to work efficiently without being locked into a single service provider. Additionally, it integrates seamlessly with Neat Pulse, Neat’s cloud-based management service, enabling IT teams to monitor and control devices for optimal management remotely.

Neat Select, which will be released in the first half of 2025, will be available for the Neat Bar and Neat Bar 2.
