Jabra has released an additional enhancement to its speakerphone Speak2 75, which allows for a linking capability between two devices.
“With the new linking feature, the Speak2 75 transforms how users experience sound, offering flexible placement options that adapt to any environment,“
Holger Reisinger, SVP for Video and Collaboration Solutions at Jabra said.
Rolled out as an automatic over-the-air update, the new feature aims to enhance the Speak2 75 by extending its range for meeting setups of various sizes and locations.
Speak2 75 Capabilities
Speak2 75 is a Jabra professional speakerphone designed for hybrid working arrangements.
It is a device that can unobtrusively sit on the conference table and enhance the audio of participants beyond any in-built computer audio.
With advanced super-wideband audio, precision microphone performance, voice tone-refining technology, and a pocketable size, Jabra asserts it enables users to turn their hybrid world office, like a dining room or hotel hot desk, into a meeting room with great audio quality.
The upgrade to the Speak2 75 enables two devices to link for enhanced audio coverage.
This aims to provide the same good audio coverage suitable for large and medium-sized meeting rooms.
Driven by user feedback on Bluetooth connectivity, the update is also designed to give a permanent linking capability between the devices, even when turned off and on again, to save time for set up each time.
The devices are compatible with major UC platforms, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom and also provide automatic switching to mono and stereo signal modes based on the usage scenario to ensure remote callers receive the same clear audio as those in the room.
“By expanding the Speak2 75’s capabilities, we are setting a new standard for immersive, adaptable audio solutions,” Reisinger said.
With this new update, IT and facility managers will have more flexibility in designing rooms with better audio coverage.
Jabra’s AV Solutions So Far
This update to its AV solutions is not the first product announcement it made in 2025.
Already Jabra has released a new product that is hoping to take advantage of enterprises’ increasing interest in the field of AI in their AV solutions.
Launched this month, the AV company released an AI-ready solution aimed at another sector of workers needing audio solutions outside of a boardroom: the Perform 75 headset.
A purpose-built Bluetooth device, the headset allows access to voice-led applications on handheld devices—including emerging AI-driven virtual assistants— to boost collaboration and productivity among retail shift workers.
