Neat is partnering with Google Meet to enhance the video meeting experience.

Neat, a trailblazer in video collaboration hardware, is deepening its integration with Google’s video conferencing platform. This strategic alignment is designed to strengthen Neat’s extensive partner ecosystem while giving businesses greater freedom to tailor their meeting experiences.

Through its collaboration with Google Meet, Neat is broadening its software ecosystem and unlocking greater choices for meeting room configurations. The introduction of native “Meet-on-Neat” functionality allows IT leaders and administrators to run Google Meet directly on a range of Neat devices—delivering a streamlined, intuitive experience for users across the board.

Supported hardware includes the Neat Bar Generation 2, Neat Bar Pro, Neat Board 50, and Neat Board Pro, giving teams and clients a consistent and high-quality meeting experience regardless of the setup.

Neat says it plans to support Google Meet by the end of 2025.

More Information on the New Partnership

By integrating with Google Meet, Neat says it’s tapping into advanced AI capabilities to elevate the intelligence and productivity of every meeting. Features like Google Meet’s “Take notes for me” offer automated note-taking in any room, while companion mode aims to foster inclusive, collaborative experiences for all participants. Both companies affirm that these AI-driven features are fully compatible with Neat devices right out of the box, aspiring to ensure a frictionless experience from day one.

Neat’s state-of-the-art audio technology also plays a key role, enabling precise voice detection for every speaker. This seeks to result in sharper accuracy across live captions, transcription services, and real-time translations—making meetings more accessible and effective across global teams.

Q-SYS VisionSuite Elevates Hybrid Meetings With Google Meet Certification

In February, Q-SYS expanded its VisionSuite offering with full support for Google Meet, aiming to enhance the hybrid meeting experience with intelligent, AI-powered features.

The latest addition—the Q-SYS VisionSuite AI Accelerator for presenter tracking—joins an existing suite of Google Meet-certified solutions, including Q-SYS Core processors, NC Series cameras, and networked microphones. This upgrade introduces vision-based automation, enabling precise presenter tracking and seamless camera switching based on participant activity.

With these capabilities, Q-SYS emphasises that organisations could design more adaptable and scalable meeting environments. The result is that remote participants benefit from a more immersive and engaging view of in-room presenters, helping bridge the gap between physical and virtual attendees.

Neat Select: Neat Launch BYOD Solution for Flexible Video Collaboration

Also, this February, Neat launched Neat Select, a new Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD) solution.

Neat Select, launching in the first half of 2025 for Neat Bar and Neat Bar 2, enables users to join meetings on any video platform by simply connecting their laptops. It supports HDMI and USB-C on Neat Bar and a single USB-C on Neat Bar 2, delivering a plug-and-play experience for a wide range of devices.

Designed for today’s multi-device workstyles, Neat Select enhances interoperability across diverse IT environments without locking businesses into a single video provider. It also integrates seamlessly with Neat Pulse, allowing IT teams to manage and monitor devices remotely.
