Nureva has released its advanced control app for HDL Pro series systems.
The web-based Nureva app was first announced at Infocomm 2024 and acts as a control companion to the HDL Pro series audio systems. It is now available to HDL310 and HDL410 customers at no extra charge.
Nureva pitches the Nureva App as offering a streamlined method for setting up and configuring HDL pro series systems for both audio and third-party cameras, enabling tracking and switching.
Nancy Knowlton, Nureva’s CEO, commented:
The Nureva App makes it easier than ever for IT managers and integrators to quickly set up and configure an HDL pro series system in dynamic environments where quick in-room adjustments are essential for optimal audio performance. Included at no charge, it’s the latest way we’re helping our customers get great audio performance in larger meeting rooms and classrooms while optimizing the use of their resources.”
Designed for IT managers and integrators, the app aims to simplify the in-room setup of Nureva devices. Unlike traditional pro AV systems that require multiple software tools and extensive technical expertise, the Nureva App automates much of the setup and configuration process, reducing installation time and streamlining audio and camera integration.
The Nureva App is free for all HDL310 and HDL410 customers. To obtain the app, users must update their HDL310 or HDL410 system by connecting it to the internet for at least six hours (internet access is only necessary for these updates). After the update is completed, the web app can be accessed on various platforms, including PCs, tablets, and mobile phones.
Looking forward, Nureva intends to broaden the app’s capabilities, including support for iOS and Android devices, in Q1 of 2025.
More Info On The App’s Features
The Nureva App offers step-by-step installation tips and tools, including a setup wizard, to help first-time users and installers deploy HDL310 and HDL410 systems efficiently.
Users can access audio settings directly through the app, including configuring the device for Microsoft Teams or Zoom UC&C calls. They can also enable Voice Amplification Mode to enhance the presenter’s voice in the room and ensure remote participants can hear all voices from the room clearly. Nureva adds that Voice Amplification Mode is particularly beneficial for optimising audio quality in larger meeting rooms, classrooms, and training rooms.
Nureva says its app makes it easy for IT teams to update their HDL310 and HDL410 systems with the latest features for the best experience. The app includes a feature that generates a map of microphone pickup zones and the location of real-time sound events. Users can create up to eight camera zones that can be mapped to in-room cameras that use Nureva’s sound location data to assist with tracking and switching.
Nureva says this new AI-enabled, Nureva-trained algorithm enhances the sound location data for camera tracking by distinguishing human voices from background noise, improving accuracy and ensuring clear communication. Customers can use the app to set up their local camera tracking and switching integrations directly on the HDL310 and HDL410 systems.
The app is complemented by Nureva Console, the company’s cloud-based platform for managing Nureva devices at scale within an organisation.
