Yealink is pushing beyond its traditional meeting room stronghold and into the professional AV market, unveiling a suite of intelligent audio, video, and networking solutions aimed at enterprise-scale collaboration environments.

The move signals a clear evolution for the Chinese manufacturer – from being a trusted Microsoft Teams hardware partner to a full-stack provider capable of powering everything from huddle spaces to auditoriums.

At its recent “Scenarios Expanded – EMEA” showcase, Yealink revealed how it’s extending its reach beyond plug-and-play room systems to tackle more complex installations.

The highlight: a new generation of multi-camera systems, AI-driven microphones, and networked AV infrastructure designed to simplify enterprise-level deployments.

Moving Upstream

For much of the past decade, Yealink has built its reputation on delivering easy-to-deploy, cost-effective Microsoft Teams Rooms systems. But as hybrid work matures and organizations invest in more sophisticated collaboration environments, the company is clearly setting its sights higher.

“Enterprises no longer want a patchwork of devices from different vendors,” said Fuhan Lee, Product Marketing Manager, Yealink. “They want an integrated, intelligent ecosystem that scales with their needs – and that’s exactly where we’re heading.”

The company’s latest ProAV range makes that ambition tangible. Leading the charge is the SmartVision 80, a multi-lens camera system that ditches the old mechanical PTZ model in favor of a 3+1 lens array. The setup allows for near-instant speaker tracking and wide panoramic coverage, reducing latency and improving the flow of meetings.

“In larger rooms, traditional PTZ cameras can’t keep up with dynamic discussions,” added Lee.

“With multiple lenses and advanced AI tracking, SmartVision 80 ensures smooth, natural transitions – no jerky camera moves, no missed moments.”

Yealink’s S90 and S98 cameras complement PTZ camera like SmartVision 80 and UVC 86, providing flexible configurations for training spaces, classrooms, and boardrooms that demand multi-angle coverage.

The 4-person shot + room view – as well as the IntelliFocus experience – also marks the first time such features are supported in the PTZ camera category – making it a standout in terms of user experience and functionality.

The Missing Links: Audio and Infrastructure

To underpin its new video systems, Yealink is bolstering its audio and networking capabilities – the critical glue that ties complex ProAV environments together.

The CM50 microphone introduces AI-based voice processing to enhance clarity and reduce background noise, while enabling audio-triggered camera tracking. This means the system can detect who’s speaking and adjust the camera view automatically, creating a more natural, hands-free experience.

Meanwhile, the AP08 and AV Bridge combine signal extension and audio processing in a compact, affordable package compatible with both Yealink and third-party Dante or analog systems. Together, they offer an accessible bridge between traditional AV setups and modern IP-based collaboration environments.”

A One-Stop Collaboration Ecosystem

With this expansion, Yealink now covers the full collaboration chain – from personal devices and huddle rooms to lecture halls and corporate auditoriums. The company’s strategy revolves around three principles: interoperability, scalability, and simplicity.

This integrated ecosystem approach not only tightens Yealink’s relationship with Microsoft Teams but also positions it as a serious contender in the broader ProAV space – a market traditionally dominated by players like Crestron, Biamp, and Logitech.

What This Means for Partners and Enterprise Teams

Yealink’s expansion into ProAV offers partners and IT/AV teams new opportunities and efficiencies. Channel partners can now sell and deploy complete collaboration solutions under a single vendor, with AI cameras, smart microphones, and networked infrastructure that integrate with existing AV systems.

For enterprise IT and AV teams, the ecosystem promises simpler deployment and management. Features like audio-triggered camera tracking, noise reduction, and analytics provide insight into space usage and system performance, while the scalable design supports everything from small rooms to large auditoriums, potentially reducing operational overhead.

Looking Ahead

The company’s roadmap suggests that AI will continue to play a central role, not just in cameras and microphones, but also in device management and analytics – offering IT administrators deeper visibility into how spaces are used.

From compact meeting bars to large-scale AV deployments, Yealink’s expansion shows a company no longer content to stay in its lane. The message is clear: Yealink isn’t just building Teams devices anymore – it’s building the connective tissue of the intelligent workplace.
