Yealink, a video conferencing and collaboration specialist, referenced the Work Trend Index Annual Report, which found that 43 percent of remote employees feel disconnected during video meetings.
The MVC S40 builds on the Windows MVC series to further enhance hybrid meeting democratisation by adding an AI-powered dual-camera system, IntelliFocus, beamforming microphones, an audio algorithm, stereo speakers, wireless connectivity, and integration with other meeting apps.
Tony Duffenais, Senior Account Executive at AVI-SPL, a Canadian collaboration and audio-visual technologies provider, wrote a glowing review for the MVC S40: “In the rapidly evolving landscape of remote communication, video conferencing has become an indispensable tool for businesses and organisations worldwide.
“As the demand for high-quality video conferencing solutions continues to rise, Yealink, a leading provider of communication and collaboration solutions, has emerged as a frontrunner with its MVC S40 video conference bar.
Offering a host of innovative features and unparalleled performance, the Yealink MVC S40 stands out as the best video conference bar in the market today.”
MVC S40 Features
According to Yealink, the MVC S40’s dual-camera system has been added to capture the maximum number of participants in ultra-wide views.
The IntelliFocus feature automatically adjusts the camera’s focus to bring the active speaker into the foreground. These two features represent the central features working to enhance meeting equity.
The MVC S40’s communication technology has eight MEMS beamforming microphones to capture sounds from all angles. A “full-duplex” audio algorithm allows for crystal-clear sound even when speech overlaps.
Powerful stereo speakers also lead to a more immersive meeting environment that fosters greater collaboration, Yealink explains in its associated press release.
To further improve collaborative experiences, the MVC S40 is compatible with the WPP30 presentation pod to make sharing easy. Wireless connectivity makes it possible to use plug-and-share functionality with 4k video within complex networks. The WPP30 provides seamless integration options with other meeting applications, which includes the MVC S40’s audio and video capabilities.
Yealink also has a trade-in program that makes it easier to keep up to date with the latest device releases: “To further enhance your meeting experience, Yealink has introduced the Trade-in Program, offering up to a 35% discount on the MVC series.
Whether you’re upgrading from Yealink or other leading vendors’ video conferencing devices, the program provides a hassle-free solution to ensure you stay ahead of the curve.”
“By participating, you not only mitigate security risks associated with Microsoft’s Windows upgrade policy but also harness the power of AI to unlock unprecedented collaboration and productivity.”
Last year, Yealink introduced its third-generation MVC Series for Microsoft Teams Rooms. The company said at the time that it was the first solution “to collaborate with Microsoft in integrating AI technologies like voice control, identity recognition, and transcription video conferencing”.
