Known for delivering one of the world’s most popular unified communications platforms, Fuze has earned their reputation boosting productivity in the enterprise. They support businesses in achieving their communication goals, unlocking flexible conferencing, and accessing always-on collaboration. Today, they announced a recent financing round of $150 million, dedicated entirely to product innovation, and the global expansion of the company.

Apparently, this latest funding round was led by Summit Partners, with additional participation from numerous other investors like Bessemer Venture Partners and more. This means that Fuze’s total funding today stands at an impressive $484.8 million.

According to the CEO for Fuze, Colin Doherty, the business has lots of opportunity for growth currently, thanks to the launch of the new 5.0 platform, and Fuze Web. The additional investment will ensure that Fuze can continue to grow at rapid speed, bringing more innovation into the marketplace.

If you’ve been keeping up with the company in the news, then you’ll already know how much effort Fuze has put into boosting innovation in new products over the last year or so. As well as the 5.0 launch in May, Fuze announced in March that they had joined with AppNeta to create their Real-Time network monitoring service, providing Fuze customers with a complete overview of network performance.

According to an announcement from Bruce R. Evans, the Fuze Summit Partners board member, the latest investment should help the technology company to continue growing and innovating with their advanced range of products. Summit Partners believe that Fuze is in an exceptional position to continue leading the market for enterprise-level cloud communications – and they’re not the only group that feels this way.

Recently, Fuze announced that the company has seen a 44% year-over-year increase in revenue from subscriptions, as well as a 500% year-over-year growth of users active each day in the Fuze Desktop collaboration platform. Fuze was named a leader by the Aragon Research Globe for UC&C in 2018, and they achieved “visionary” status in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS).

Additionally, Fuze has also won the Innovation and Leadership award for UCaaS delivered by Frost and Sullivan, and they’ve emerged as a leader for the UCaaS Market in the Synergy 2017 reports.
