UCi2i, a leader in video conferencing as a service (VaaS), have long prided themselves on the ability to deliver a comprehensive portfolio of productivity-boosting products to their consumers. Recently, the group announced a new development for their product bundles that will allow them to deliver efficient and effective simplified cloud services to the SMB market sector. The company are differentiating their existing services to ensure that they’re easier to understand, easier to use, and easier to sell to a range of different customers.

Competing with the Modern Market

The new product bundles represent UCi2i’s desire to begin differentiating their services, and out-matching their competitors when it comes to bundled service offerings. There are two different types of service bundle now available from UCi2i. The SMB bundle, and the enterprise licensing bundle.

The SMB product packages that UCi2i have recently introduced, will be a commoditised and scaled version of their existing platform solutions. In simple terms, they’re affordable, off-the-shelf services that allow SMBs to enjoy the same level of productivity enhancement as enterprise-level companies. The SMB services come with fixed-capacity virtual meeting rooms, that work alongside their more nuanced Flex port offering for enterprises, which permits larger deployments for collaboration.

With an SMB license, customers will be able to purchase a VMR (virtual meeting room) with 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 seats, all offered at competitive prices to match the current marketplace. Additionally, device registration will not be mandatory, and guest access, video streaming and local-dial-in from thirty different countries will be included.

Why Introduce the New Product Bundles?

The new product bundles and services offered by UCi2i were designed to facilitate productivity for customers who might not have legacy videoconferencing solutions, but need to still make HD-level conference calls. Overall the service will also allow for Skype for Business, WebRTC, ISDN, SIP and H.323 calls to access the service – just as with the Enterprise plans.

The SMB product bundles, with minimal pricing, help to ensure that each package is exceptionally good value for each customer. Support is offered as an optional extra, and the SMB product set gives customers the chance to access all UCi2i mixed protocol and interoperability solutions.

UCi2i noted that their new solutions will:

  • Allow them to compete with other leading VaaS vendors on the market
  • Provide the essential DIY video solution that SMB companies are looking for – in enterprise quality
  • Offer solutions directly to end-users in a world of BYOC and software-based conferencing
  • Provide cost-effective solutions that work just like a mobile contract.
  • Simplify the current technology space
  • Make sales conversations easier

UCi2i Channel partners will also be able to sell the latest bundles, request your free trial here.

Enterprise licensing for UCi2i solutions will remain unchanged, and Flex ports will continue to act as the key offering for larger customers in need of broader virtual meeting rooms and access to multiple pools of ports.
