Perhaps the most well-known conference in the world for enterprise communication purposes, Enterprise Connect is easily one of the must-attend events for 2018. As a source of compelling industry knowledge and exciting insights for the future of UC and communication, Enterprise Connect always brings together a diverse range of keynote speakers to enlighten and inspire attendees from around the globe.

According to a recent announcement in December 2017, the event will now be hosting Frerk-Malte Feller, the Director of Workplace Ecosystem Partnerships at Facebook as a Keynote speaker in 2018. Feller will be welcomed to the Enterprise Connect stage on the 14th of March, between the times of 11:30 am and 12:00 pm.

The executive speaker, Feller, is the Director of Workplace Ecosystem Partnerships at Facebook, and he’s responsible for creating service and product partnerships that work around the Workplace platform for collaboration. According to the brand, Feller has played an important part in the evolution of Workplace over the years, helping to transform the product into a productivity platform that could integrate with some of the top collaboration tools on the market.

Before he began his development of Workplace, Feller was responsible for leading the Facebook Messenger Platform product group with Facebook. Additionally, before Feller joined the Facebook team, he held a range of roles with fast-paced consumer companies, assisting companies through various stages of growth, turn-around, and start-up. For instance, he previously ran the eCommerce segment for Hewlett-Packard in the North American region. At the beginning of his journey into communications, Feller worked for eBay, where he was behind the technology for PayPal Australia and Germany.

An Exciting New Development for 2018

As usual, the conference will be taking place in March, between the 12th and the 15th at the Gaylord Palms in Orlando, Florida. If your excitement is piqued, you can already register at the Enterprise Connect website.

According to the General Manager and Program Co-Chair for the event, Eric Krapf, the group is delighted that Facebook will be joining them in 2018 for a discussion on the future of workplace communications. Feller is expected to provide the Orlando audience with a behind-the-scenes glance at how Facebook is currently using their “Workplace by Facebook” collaboration tool to enter the enterprise market and deliver new communication solutions to customers around the world.

As Facebook emerges as a more competitive player in the enterprise collaboration space, an insight from the company itself could be enough to inspire decision makers as they begin to consider upgrading their next-generation plans for UC&C in 2018.

Alongside Feller, Enterprise Connect will also welcome a range of other exciting speakers to the Keynote Stage, including:
