Gamma Communications has reinforced its collaboration with Cisco by launching its new Horizon with Webex solution.
Horizon with Webex is presented as a blend of Gamma’s Horizon platform and Webex by Cisco, specifically designed for small and medium-sized businesses. This integration allows all Gamma’s Horizon product users to enhance their communication experience with Webex’s features. It extends the service’s collaboration capabilities and, through the range of services offered, enables SMEs to scale and adapt their comms strategies to meet modern needs.
Gamma highlights that this expanded collaboration represents a significant milestone in its quest to become the leading UCaaS provider in Western Europe.
Andrew Belshaw, CEO of Gamma, commented:
With the introduction of Webex into our portfolio for both partners and customers, we are providing the choice of tooling that’s right for their business to thrive in today’s dynamic world.”
Horizon with Webex is built on Gamma’s network, which services millions of users across the UK. Gamma stresses that this dedicated business network has supported essential services for years, providing robust, industry-standard encryption and 24/7 UK-based support.
Additionally, Gamma outlines that Webex Calling will be offered both through Gamma partners as a wholesale option and directly to enterprise and public sector customers. This service, named Webex for Gamma, aims to deliver enhanced communication capabilities to a broader range of businesses across Europe.
Gamma says that all versions of this solution leverage the strengths of both companies, combining Cisco’s leading collaboration technology with Gamma’s extensive expertise in voice, connectivity, and managed services.
“Cisco is deepening our relationship with Gamma, delivering cutting-edge AI-powered Webex collaboration solutions,” added DP Venkatesh, Chief Growth Officer at Cisco Collaboration. “As AI transforms the business landscape, our innovative Webex platform enables Gamma to provide enhanced employee and customer experiences for businesses of all sizes across Europe.”
Gamma’s Positive Acquisitions in 2024
In other Gamma and Cisco news, the former recently bolstered its expertise in Cisco products and implementations by acquiring BrightCloud Group and Placetel.
BrightCloud Group, a Cisco-authorised reseller of Webex Contact Centre services, was acquired in July and will enhance Gamma’s managed service, customer engagement, and support, propelling Gamma’s stated ambition to become a premier managed service provider for European enterprises seeking to revolutionise their comms infrastructures.
Meanwhile, this month, Gamma also acquired Placetel, a leading Cloud PBX provider in Germany. This acquisition enables companies to purchase Cisco Collaboration solutions both digitally and via local partners, which Gamma says positions it among the top providers in Germany.
Gamma stresses these strategic moves underscore its commitment to deepening its collaboration with Cisco and expanding its presence in key European markets.
“Our recent acquisition of BrightCloud Group and Placetel further demonstrates our commitment to enhancing our Cisco partnership, strengthening our presence in the UK, Germany and wider Europe, and leading the way in delivering the most choice and the best outcomes for our partners and customers,” said Belshaw.
