NEC recently announced a new strategy to boost its channel presence. According to the company, as new challenges face the telecoms industry, resellers are looking for new opportunities to impress their customers. As a global leader in communications and IT solutions, NEC has recruited more than 50 resellers in the UK channel this year, along with many others in Africa, the Middle East, and Europe.

NEC notes that it’s remaining committed to the UC market and reseller channel, with a selection of premise-based systems, hybrid offerings, and the new cloud-based UNIVERGE BLUE solution for UCaaS.

Promising a Fantastic Channel Experience

NEC has been a recognised leader in small and mid-sized business call control for the last 6 years running. The company believes that enhancing its channel offering is an important step forward in the future of the business. According to Ajmal Hussain of HBT Communications, a recent partner onboarded by NEC, the NEC solution is a highly commendable offering for resellers.

HBT Communications have adopted both the SV9100 and SL2100 small business PBX for SMBs, taking full advantage of online training offered for technical and sales teams. The transition into the NEC partner program has been seamless, according to Ajmal, with fantastic support. As the demand for VoIP technology continues, the capabilities NEC provides offer a fantastic way to leverage the marketplace. HBT is also considering the UNIVERGE BLUE cloud solution too.

NEC has also shared positive feedback from other distributors, like Italian company Easy Com, which recently joined forces with NEC. According to General Manager Gianluca Marinucci, the company is thrilled to become a distributor for NEC in Italy.

Fuelling Growth Opportunities for Partners

The robust and broad portfolio of products from NEC allows today’s resellers and partners to expand and enhance their offering in the market. NEC resellers expect to address the rising demand for communication technology and take advantage of continued growth.

The channel in South Africa has also seen benefits, including the Huge Management company. COO of the Huge Group, Andy Openshaw said that NEC’s long-standing history and commitment to business communications makes it a powerful contender in the marketplace.
