Pan-EMEA high-value distribution company, Nuvias has just announced the appointment of a new CEO, Simon England, to lead its impressive and fast-growing team. The brand is currently in the midst of redefining the specialist international distribution available for it, with a platform that offers consistently compelling service-led propositions across EMEA. Now, England will be responsible for helping to lead Nuvias and support the brand’s vision to offer incredible business support.

England has a long-standing history in the IT value-added distribution sector. As CEO, it will be his task to take Nuvias into the next level of its development strategy, taking advantage of the solution-rich platform that already exists for the group. Nuvias hopes that the appointment of their new CEO will help the company to become the leading high-value distributor in Europe.

Introducing Simon England

England will both support the growth of the Nuvias’ impressive portfolio of IT solutions and assist in accelerating growth for Nuvias partners. Over the course of his career, England has both led and developed businesses in the space of value-added distribution for more than 3 decades. In his previous role, England was responsible for driving the development of new business models and segments for technology data as SVP of Next Generation Technologies.

After Simon successfully expanded the value of the company’s businesses under the Maverick, Datech and Azlan brands, he also helped to drive growth across the whole of Europe. England will be taking full operational control of Nuvias as CEO from the 1st of April 2019. He will report to the Nuvias Group Board.

Looking Forward to Additional Growth

With an extensive range of solutions to offer in advanced networking, cybersecurity, and unified communications, the Nuvias Group is already in an excellent position in the current market. The first phase for the next stage of the company’s evolution involves integrating acquisitions, a process driven by Paul Eccleston. The result has been the development of one of Europe’s leading high-value distribution challengers.

Going forward, Paul Eccleston will take the role of Executive Chairman with Nuvias, which will mean that he retains the responsibility for corporate and vendor strategies. According to Paul, the decision to bring England on as CEO is an exciting opportunity for Nuvias. He believes that it will allow the business to move forward successfully under Simon’s leadership to embrace even greater opportunities in the months and years ahead.

In a press release about his new role, England said that Nuvias is incredibly well-positioned in a fantastic market that continues to perform exceptionally well. Nuvias is transforming how IT services are consumed and delivered, with a unique set of assets, an excellent reputation, and long-standing expertise. England is excited to be a part of the senior management team going forward and looks forward to helping Nuvias build on its potential in EMEA.
