ServiceTitan has partnered with 2600Hz, an Ooma company, to deliver a robust UCaaS/CCaaS solution.

ServiceTitan has introduced Contact Center Pro, an AI-driven, always-on contact centre platform designed for the trades. This platform simplifies multiple comms channels to boost revenue, reduce costs, and enhance customer service. It is powered by 2600Hz’s turnkey open-core solution, which integrates UCaaS, CPaaS, and CCaaS functionalities on a single code base.

Based in Glendale, California, ServiceTitan is a cloud-based platform that aspires to empower trades businesses with an end-to-end solution. It provides contractors with tools to manage operations, grow their business, and bolster CX.

Contact Center Pro is powered by Titan Intelligence, ServiceTitan’s proprietary AI solution designed specifically for the trades. ServiceTitan outlines that this omnichannel platform consolidates phone, email, web, and social communications into a unified inbox, with support from a virtual assistant for enhanced guidance and efficiency.

2600Hz’s open-core solution offers a rich feature set, enhanced with customisation options through over 300 open APIs, all within a fully white-label package. This aims to allow resellers and service providers to maintain brand identity while developing and leveraging their differentiated intellectual property.

By building Contact Center Pro on 2600Hz, ServiceTitan says it dramatically accelerates the time to market without sacrificing features or functionality. Beyond just the contact centre, the vendor emphasises the solution also supports front-office and field teams with a complete suite of telephony and UCaaS features accessible across computers, tablets, smartphones, and physical IP phones.

Ooma and 2600Hz’s Story

Ooma acquired 2600HZ in October 2023 for roughly $33 million in cash.

Ooma acquired 2600Hz’s portfolio of business communications apps designed for resellers and carriers. This acquisition included Kazoo, an open-source communications platform and proprietary applications supported by open APIs, enabling Ooma to offer UCaaS, CCaaS, CPaaS solutions, and AI-driven tools and applications.

The transaction allowed Ooma to guide the direction and development of 2600Hz’s technology roadmap. By integrating its proprietary intellectual property (IP) with 2600Hz’s offerings, Ooma aimed to deliver more robust, scalable, and open comms services for the industry.

Meanwhile, in May, Ooma upgraded its Office smart communications platform for enterprises with several advanced features to boost team collaboration and customer experience.

Ooma Office introduced several new features, including a “Contact Us” widget, an Auto Redialer, and an Online Whiteboard for video conferencing. Marketed as an affordable and scalable solution, Ooma Office is tailored to help small and medium-sized businesses compete more effectively with larger enterprises by enhancing communication and collaboration capabilities.
