Europe’s biggest unified communication and collaboration event, UC EXPO, has recently announced that it will be co-locating with the Digital Transformation Expo event in Europe, otherwise known as DTX Europe. This is the first time that the two experiences will be coming together on the 30th of September, and the 1st of October 2020.

The collaboration between the two expos highlights one of Europe’s most prominent and compelling technology events for the second half of 2020. Additionally, it should help businesses to pivot their strategies to further futureproof operations and support a landscape that is becoming increasingly flexible and focused on remote working. IT and business leaders will be able to move freely between both events, getting insights from leading brands like Microsoft, Cisco, Zoom, and Facebook.

An Incredible Learning Opportunity

This year’s combined event between DTX and UC EXPO returns at a critical time for the UC marketplace. Over the last couple of months, the world has seen a massive disruption to typical working practices. Many businesses have been forced to increase their investment into tools that can enable better working practices from any environment. Studies show that 84% of the companies without UC solutions today plan to implement them going forward.

The UC EXPO experience will bring providers from across the UC and collaboration environment together to help address the issues associated with modern challenges for global businesses. At the same time, Digital Transformation Expo will showcase some of the leading technologies that allow companies to transform and update their operations, with a focus on the things that many companies need most today, like cloud solutions and modern network infrastructure. Many of the tools explored by DTX Europe are critical to enabling unified communications.

The two combined events will provide an excellent place for business leaders and IT experts from all backgrounds to enhance security, improve operational efficiencies, and accelerate the digital development of their businesses.

Bringing the Two Events Together

The Managing Director of Clarion Events, James McGough, said that in the current circumstances, pulling the two events together is the ideal call. The group has already received a lot of positive responses from sponsors, speakers, and exhibitors, as well as visitors. Considering the disruptive nature of the first quarter of the year, James said that he is confident this co-location at the end of the year will deliver more benefit than if the two shows had run separately.

McGough went on to say that DTX Europe features all of the technologies that allowing for digital transformation, and unified communication is one of the leading investment areas for tech leaders right now. The two events seem to connect perfectly together, particularly as companies look for ways to modernise their communication stack.
