The innovative and easy-to-use cloud solutions company “UKCloud” has ramped up its partner recruitment efforts, allowing ICT suppliers to offer their services through the brand new “G-9”, G-Cloud. This is being advertised as the newest, and best example of the complete G-Cloud Framework, a solution that is designed to offer opportunities in the public sector through cloud service solutions of all shapes and sizes.

UKCloud has been offering its range of unique cloud solutions through G-Cloud since the first Framework originally went live during 2012. As a leader in the IaaS (Infrastructure-as-a-Service) market, the credentials and expertise of the firm are well-commended when it comes to supporting their partners in offering great cloud submissions.

High Expectations for G9

According to the CEO for UKCloud, Simon Hansford, this latest adaptation is the best solution offered by the company yet, with improvements emerging thanks to consultations that were carried out by the Crown Commercial Service, and Government Digital Service. The high expectations that Hansford has for success with this new development are reflected in the newly launched channel recruitment campaign, which intends to cultivate greater collaboration through partners in the public-sector business.

UKCloud originally launched their new channel partner program during 2016, which was crafted to offer both new and existing partners with a chance to enjoy increased support and more access to a range of marketing, technical, and sales expertise. To date, UKCloud has assisted around 120 partner organisations onto their G-Cloud framework, and have supported over 465 partner projects within the public sector.

The Best Iteration Yet

Hansford noted that the company expects G9 to be the best iteration to approach the market today, thanks to the extensive consultations that were carried out by official and expert bodies. G-Cloud 9 should have a greater emphasis on ensuring supplier security credentials, and enhancing the buyer journey through a personalised service categorisation, and innovative changes. These new solutions are boosted by the use of simple and effective terms and conditions.

The hope for the business is to attract more buyers than ever before, from a wider range of markets than ever before. With hundreds of successful joint projects, and 230 like-minded channel partners, they believe that their partner programme has long-stood as a crucial part of their business model, and they’re now looking forward to creating even more collaborations.

To assist ambitious ICT suppliers who want to get into the public sector, UKCloud also offers a G-Cloud 9 checklist, a Q&A forum, and a “How to Submit” guide that offers plenty of information on achieving the right security credentials, and addressing the security questions that may arise as part of the submission process for G9.
