Buying a Business Phone Service in 2020
Commenting on their list of the top business phone services for 2020, US News noted that choosing the perfect solution for 2020 isnβt always an easy process. In a world where thereβs a significant amount of competition in the market, todayβs companies have a lot of different factors to consider. According to Sam Sanstone, it used to be all comparing βapples to applesβ in previous years, when phone systems were all virtually the same.
However, as the introduction of VoIP took over the market, and led to the rise of UCaaS and cloud-based solutions, itβs become easier than ever for vendors to offer extremely diversified portfolios. Todayβs businesses can deliver everything from video conferencing and messaging, to business applications and contact centres with their phone systems. The marketplace is shifting, and the core components that business leaders consider when theyβre purchasing or using a phone service are changing.
Additionally, President of Telecom Advisors Group, Phillip Sherman, noted that the number of providers selling the latest services is growing too. There are so many options to choose from in 2020, which means that job of a technology buyer in 2020 is sure to be more complicated than ever.
