The past two years have seen both vendors and channel partners adapt to new ways of engaging with one another, with in-person meetings in many cases off the table. However, it has never been more important for vendors to continue to show their commitment to their partners.  

On January 24, Wildix will launch the second virtual edition of the event created for its channel partners, UC&C Summit 2022. 

The global event will focus on two main themes: the importance of the channel as added value to customers, and the strength of a global brand when it comes to closing deals. 

Fresh off securing its place in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for UCaaS, the company will use the event to introduce a new all-in-one UCaaS platform for sales business communications, x-bees. The smart browser-based platform has been integrated with Salesforce and Gong.io to provide the best platform to help partners manage leads, improve customer service and increase sales. 

Wildix will also dive into the exciting capabilities around WebRTC and React Native technology and unveil a new package that enables people to use the best of UC&C from a single intuitive platform. 

Commitment to Partnership

UC&C Summit will not only unveil the newest releases from the brand but will offer expert insight into the latest UC market trends and sales opportunities, courtesy of numerous special guests. 

The list of confirmed speakers includes: 

  • Tanner Robinson, Gong.io, introducing the power of business intelligence in sales 
  • Gianluca Miniero, LinkedIn, presenting the Sales Navigator tool 
  • Dominic Black, Cavell Group, who will update the audience on the latest market’s trends 
  • Giovanni Crispino, Salesforce, on the benefits of Salesforce 
  • Mitch Friedman, ValueSelling, explaining the principles behind the ValueSelling approach 
  • Tim Cook, Blulogix, who will demonstrate the benefits of the automated billing solution 

“The education we’re providing includes what the market looks like, how partners can generate interest from their customers, and importantly how to convert that interest into sales,” said Ian Rowan, Senior Channel Manager at Wildix UK. 

This education on securing deals has never been more relevant, said Rowan. He contends that the UC&C sector is currently suffering with the channel being increasingly eliminated from the sales process. 

“Legacy vendors are reducing Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and System Integrators (SIs) to mere agents and preventing them from owning their customers. We believe this agency model is detrimental to the channel, and that partners should be recognised for their vital role in supporting customers – especially at this time. This event will assert our firm commitment to partnership with our channel,” said Rowan. 

Partners can choose their own targets

This commitment is demonstrated by a commitment programme at the event, where each partner attending gets the opportunity to select their own target for the next 12 months. 

“Partners are free to choose whichever target they wish to go for, and based on them hitting their own target, we reward them with rebates,” said Rowan. “This is different to most vendors – instead of being prescriptive, we expect the partner to tell us what they want to achieve, and then we work collectively to make sure that we achieve their goals” 

“That’s because we understand our lifeblood is our partner base and our success is only as good as their success.”
