Every year, GITEX Technology Weeks brings together innovations from around the world, to introduce us to what’s coming next in the world of communications. This year, for the very first time, UC Today will be on the ground at GITEX, with our very own Rob Scott reporting back on all the top stories to emerge during the event.

One of the most interesting things we’re looking forward to is seeing what Avaya has to offer for 2017. As a long-standing veteran of GITEX, Avaya has been attending the event ever since 2005, showcasing new and improved products and services to a crowd of dedicated partners and customers. This year, we’re sure that the level of dedication Avaya puts into their GITEX strategy will be just as impressive as ever.

What Can We Expect from Avaya

During GITEX Technology week, Avaya will be introducing how they plan to work hand-in-hand with organisations to design customised approaches to the consumer experience. We’ll be seeing some real-world use cases presented by customers throughout Avaya’s International network, and getting a behind-the-scenes look, into how the digital platforms and discovery processes Avaya uses today are driving brand success.

Avaya will also be demonstrating how their unique portfolio can give modern companies the power they need to integrate some of the most disruptive technology in the communications space, such as the Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, and Blockchain data. Each of these digital transformation techniques will be linked back to specific virtual industries, including healthcare, finance, banking, public safety, and hospitality.

The Theme for Avaya in 2017

While we can only speculate on what we might see from other contributors to GITEX this year, it seems that Avaya, in particular, or concentrating on the increasingly important theme of customer experience (CX). That makes a lot of sense in a time when Gartner tells us 89% of businesses are competing entirely on experience metrics.

The president of Avaya International, Nidal Abou-Ltaif recently suggested that success in business today is about delivering an experience that meets with consumer demands at every brand touchpoint. He noted that GITEX 2017 could be the perfect opportunity for Avaya to demonstrate their ability to work alongside partners and customers across the globe when delivering future-proof, flexible solutions for customer experience.

During the expo, Avaya will be welcoming two of their own customers to the stage, so that they can demonstrate how the brand has helped them to make the most of AI, analytics, and automation for their current business models.

Transforming with Avaya

GITEX is perhaps the ultimate conference for those celebrating the potential of digital transformation. Avaya is clearly taking advantage of this platform to showcase the value of their products, which are already being used by many of the top businesses around the world, including the world’s top 10 airlines, and top 10 banks.

Avaya believes that by focusing on customers, they can achieve the best results for their company, and that’s a concept that they’ll be bringing to this year’s GITEX. Personally, we can’t wait to visit the stand for ourselves and explore the rest of the inspirational value that GITEX has to offer.
