ClearOne has bolstered its geographical presence in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) by appointing FVC as its distributor for the region.

Described by ClearOne as one of the leading value-added distributors, FVC brings high quality customer service, as well as more than 20 years of experience working with businesses in this area.

ClearOne itself is a global market leader in collaboration, conferencing, and network streaming solutions, working with small and medium businesses and institutions up to Fortune 500 companies, such as Google, Apple, Facebook, Disney, and Samsung.

Grifiths Zachariah, AVP- EMEAIO region at ClearOne, reacted to the partnership news: “We are delighted to partner with FVC to enhance our reach and market penetration in the Middle East and Africa.

“FVC’s strategic positioning in the UCC space, impressive reach in the enterprise market, robust distribution network, technical expertise, and well-established relationships make them the perfect partner to deliver ClearOne’s innovative solutions to a broader audience.

“Resellers and system integrators can rely on this team to deliver quality with professionalism.”

A Mutually Beneficial Partnership

Not only does this partnership benefit ClearOne by expanding its footprint in the Middle East and Africa, FVC will also be able to access ClearOne’s audio visual (AV) solutions.

These solutions expand FVC’s portfolio and help it to better meet the challenges of modern hybrid work and learning environments.

For example, ClearOne offers audio and video streaming and distribution over the IP network, with video walls, sound reinforcement, and Dante digital audio networking.

It can also furnish customers with DSP mixers, microphones, amplifiers, speakerphones, professional cameras, visual and BYOD collaboration solutions, and more.

ClearOne showcased its collaboration and conferencing solutions at InfoComm 2024, which took place in Las Vegas between June 12th to 14th.

These included its UNITE 160 camera, BMA 360D beamforming microphone array ceiling tile, Versa Mediabar Video Soundbar, Versa UCS2100 Collaboration Switcher Kit, COLLABORATE Versa Lite CT conferencing system, and others.

Mr. K.S. Parag, Managing Director at FVC, spoke about the importance of partnerships like this: “ClearOne’s renowned audio performance in the conferencing space will complement the comprehensive product portfolio carried by FVC today.

“We are committed to empowering our partners, vendors, and clients with cutting-edge technology that yields immediate results.

“By fostering true partnerships, we ensure our clients derive maximum value from their investments.

“Our collaboration with ClearOne will further enhance value for our partners and customers.”

New Additions to ClearOne

Last year, ClearOne added eight bundled conferencing solutions to its COLLABORATE Versa line-up.

The collection of microphones and cameras was introduced to provide optimised audio and video performance for conference rooms and personal office spaces.

The new additions aim to enable businesses of all sizes and budgets to implement dynamic conferencing capabilities that might have been previously prohibitively expensive, including automatic voice tracking, face tracking and echo cancellation.

In January this year, ClearOne revealed its innovative low-latency wireless microphone system, the DIALOG 20 USB.

The vendor says the flexible two-channel mic features less than four milliseconds of audio latency to enable hybrid meetings with local sound reinforcement effectively.
