Singapore-based operator StarHub has achieved the Cisco Premier Provider Certification and the Cisco Powered Webex Contact Center Specialization.

StarHub is a multinational telecom conglomerate that provides broadband internet access to Singapore.

StarHub said this signals that it will now be better equipped to help businesses modernize their operations and enhance how they connect with customers.

What Does Cisco Certification Mean?

The Cisco Premier Provider Certification is awarded to partners who consistently deliver high-quality managed services with proven technical expertise.

To achieve this certification, partners must meet stringent requirements, including having at least two Cisco-certified professionals and mandatory participation in biannual customer satisfaction surveys, along with adherence to support requirements.

Complementing this, the Cisco Powered Webex Contact Center Specialization recognizes StarHub’s center capabilities.

StarHub, having a large consumer base, operates contact centers to take queries from its customers.

The Cisco Powered Webex Contact Center Specialization is a partner program that validates a partner’s expertise in delivering Cisco’s cloud-native CCaaS solution.

This specialization, often invitation-only, requires partners to meet strict technical and sales competency criteria, including certified personnel in roles like Account Manager and Webex Contact Center Expert, ensuring they can deliver secure, scalable solutions with hybrid deployment options.

The specializations demonstrate the operator’s deep understanding of Cisco’s contact center solutions and ability to deliver managed solutions effectively.

The Power of Certification

Companies often pursue certification for a number of reasons.

For companies like StarHub, which serve businesses, these certifications can assure purchasers of the strength of their service.

For more UC-centric solutions, companies like CentrePal announced it achieved ISO 27001:2022 certification, further securing their contact center solutions with Teams.

This is designed to appeal to companies wishing to use CentrePal’s Teams solution in their contact centers.

Equally, hardware companies like MAXHUB received Microsoft Teams certification for its XCore Kit, which enables businesses to turn their small and medium bring-your-own-device (BYOD) meeting rooms into certified Microsoft Teams Rooms.
