LogMeIn, is introducing a new selection of features for GoToConnect. The GoToConnect UCC product will now feature a refreshed mobile experience, improved CCaaS opportunities, and native integrations with Microsoft Teams. Many GoToConnect options will also be available as an eCommerce purchase for businesses to buy directly.

Intended to support a new world where employees need to remain productive anywhere, the GoToConnect UCC service offers secure communication with authentication and encryption networks that offer peace of mind for all employees.

What’s New for GoToConnect?

The first update to the GoToConnect platform comes in the form of an updated mobile experience for on-the-move employees. The service aims to enable employees in receiving and making calls from mobile devices without using personal numbers. Features include Find Me and Follow Me, Voicemail transcripts, and Shared Extensions.

Enhanced contact centre options strive to make agents more productive. The latest updates support configurable permissions, customized pause reasons and more. Additional features like customizable dashboards and intelligent call routing are coming soon, along with a new product named “Revenue Center” for outbound calling and sales support.

GoToConnect will also provide a unified admin experience where leaders can manage licenses, users, and settings for various products at once. Admins will have full control over their system with an advanced, easy-to-use interface. The resulting experience will combine exceptional compliance and security with high-quality user interactions.

Microsoft Teams and Flexible Working

LogMeIn also announced native integrations with Microsoft Teams with an updated GoToConnect Teams Connector. This will allow for seamless integrations with Microsoft Teams for end-user, allowing them to use Teams and power their telephony stack with GoToConnect. The Microsoft Teams Edition of GoToConnect also offers a simple voice-only version of the GoToConnect service, without meeting or messaging.

According to Chief Technology and Product Officer for LogMeIn, Paddy Srinivasan, it’s clear that many businesses weren’t equipped to make the shift to the digital collaboration landscape in the last year. However, as we all shift to adjust to a life post-pandemic, companies everywhere are recognising the need for more user-friendly and reliable products. GoToConnect is offering solutions to support all kinds of team environments. The company has also launched new options to cater to unique requirements, such as GoToConnect Basic for simplified cloud messaging, telephony, and meetings.

There’s also GoToConnect Standard Plus, for cloud messaging, meetings, telephony, virtual events, and password management. Alternatively, companies can explore GoToConnect Premium plus, for extra features like video-enabled rooms and remote support. Each package comes with a combination of features including GoToConnect, GoToWebinar, and GoToRoom.
