Video technology company Neat has opened its first UK Experience Centre in London, signalling the company’s intent to strengthen its position in one of the world’s most competitive UC markets.
The Oslo-based firm says the new hub will give customers and partners a space to experience its full portfolio first-hand, hosting live demonstrations and workshops aimed at showing how meeting technology can feel more natural and inclusive.
“The UK is not only one of the most dynamic business markets in the world, it’s a crossroads of innovation,” said Janine Pelosi, Chief Executive Officer, Neat.
“As one of the most forward-thinking UC markets globally, the UK offers the perfect stage for Neat to expand its presence and connect with customers in new ways.
“It’s why we chose to open our first UK Experience Centre in London; it allows us to be even closer to our customers and partners, showcasing our solutions and bringing people together in meaningful ways.”
Why London, Why Now?
Neat has reported over 30 percent year-on-year growth in the UK and a 110 percent increase in local headcount over the past year.
The new site adds to its Cambridge research centre, creating a two-location presence as it seeks to make the UK its key European innovation base.
Globally, Neat says it has shipped more than 500,000 devices to around 17,000 customers, reflecting the post-pandemic surge in demand for high-quality video collaboration tools.
The £146 billion global UC market continues to expand as organisations refine their hybrid work strategies and look for ways to merge physical and digital experiences.
For Neat, the new London centre is more than a showroom – it’s a way to demonstrate value in a market where Microsoft, Zoom, Google and Cisco are all fighting for dominance in workplace collaboration.
Expanding Its Partner Ecosystem
To support its growth ambitions, Neat has expanded its partner ecosystem across the UK and Europe.
The company has introduced a new four-tier partner structure – Authorised, Advanced, Premier and Mastery – designed to support partners at different stages of maturity.
Through the programme, partners gain access to dedicated channel management, pre-sales support, marketing funds and exclusive partner events, with higher-tier partners receiving quarterly business reviews and tailored go-to-market plans.
“Our partners are essential to how we deliver exceptional experiences to customers,” said Wayne Mason, AVP UK&I. “By investing in a robust partner programme and training ecosystem, we’re ensuring that our partners have everything they need to grow with us and deliver Neat’s innovative solutions to organisations across the UK.”
What IT Leaders Should Know
For IT and workplace leaders, Neat’s investment in London reflects the sector’s next evolution: moving beyond “making meetings work” to making them work well.
As hybrid work stabilises, organisations are reassessing how spaces and technologies can enable equitable collaboration between in-room and remote participants.
Neat, like rivals Logitech and Poly, is focusing on intelligent devices that are quick to install, simple to manage and interoperable across platforms.
The company’s support for Zoom and Teams – with Google Meet integration planned for late 2025 – is likely to appeal to IT teams seeking flexibility in multi-platform environments.
Features such as automatic framing, noise suppression and participant tracking highlight how AI is becoming central to next-generation meeting spaces.
The new London centre offers a venue for technology leaders to evaluate these tools in person, rather than relying solely on vendor claims or demo videos.
The Road Ahead
The UK has become one of Europe’s most active UC markets, driven by dense corporate activity and widespread hybrid work adoption. Analysts suggest that while overall video hardware spending has levelled off since the pandemic, investment is shifting towards smarter systems that improve meeting equity and room utilisation.
Neat hopes its London Experience Centre will help it stand out in that crowded space through its focus on simplicity and design.
“The UK is a crossroads of innovation and collaboration,” Pelosi added. “It’s the perfect stage for Neat to expand its presence and connect with customers in new ways.”
The challenge for Neat now will be converting visibility into sustained adoption, as IT leaders weigh new investments against tightening budgets and vendor consolidation.
