The promotion of the Oblong Mezzanine series has been the main focus the team over the last 12 to 18 months. Mary Ann explains that Oblong are now able to offer a full suite of solutions to assist organisations of all sizes.
“It’s really been a key focus to essentially satisfy the demand of our customers who are asking for Mezzanine in all of the different kind of spaces in their organisation.”
In terms of trends, Oblong have recognised that even in smaller spaces Mezzanine can really help customers, and enabling multi-threaded conversations is vital in all sorts of environments. Data analysis is hugely important for business decision making and therefore meeting experiences need to be able to leverage those data sets. “The number of data sources that typically organisations use for making decisions range from 5 to more than 15.”
Leveraging these data sources is important but it is also effectively redundant without an effective user interface (UI). Mezzanine, and other Oblong products and solutions, are designed from inception with user experience and performance at their core. Spatial computing may well be critical to the most effective designs.
Over the next year Oblong will be continuing to focus on their partner networks. They have announced partnerships with Cisco and LG which will further enhance the availability of the platform. Mezzanine is also now available as an integration within the Cisco Webex Teams platform.
