The company will be delivering an updated solution for the work environment – focusing particularly on the personal workspace. The new product, the Zone Wired Headset, allows Logitech to offer a complete portfolio of wireless and wired headset opportunities for customers.
This new product will give Logitech customers the flexibility to choose a solution that’s better suited to their individual preferences. Whether in an open-office environment or working remotely, the Logitech Zone headsets will make to stay focused and work from anywhere.
Building Out the Logitech Portfolio
According to general manager of personal collaboration solutions from Logitech, Phillippe Depallens, the company has already targeted small, mid-sized, and larger meeting rooms with room services. Now, the company wants to deliver a category of products for the personal workspace, that provide a more comprehensive personal collaboration experience.
Offered with both audio and webcams, the Logitech portfolio intends to provide solutions that are easy to use and convenient, so employees can always perform at their best.
The Zone wired headset will expand the personal collaboration portfolio, joining the Zone wireless headset. Both of these tools are available in certified Microsoft Teams and UC versions. It’s possible to use the headset with popular applications like Zoom. What’s more, the Zone wired offering also comes with a Logitech webcam bundle for a complete personal workspace.
The new Zone wired headset aims to offer premium audio drivers for better calls and conversations. There’s also a sleek and streamlined in-line controller included for quickly pausing, playing, and muting the audio. The headset includes USB type A and Type C connectivity, and a tangle-free cable. What’s more, the tech is compatible with Logi Tune apps for desktop and mobile.
A Premium Experience for Personal Workspaces
The Logitech Zone wired headset features a premium microphone for Microsoft Teams open office environments. This allows the microphone to intelligently remove noise from nearby conversations. Additionally, the Microsoft Teams version of this tool includes with a unique Teams UI solution and an in-line control button. This ensures that users can launch a conversation with a single click, answer a Teams call instantly, or use Cortana voice skills.
The Logitech Wired UC solution and certified for Microsoft Teams products will be available by Spring 2020 and come with a price starting at $129. Kits for collaboration will also be available later in the Spring.
