Sennheiser Finds 29 Percent of Workers Use Audio to Focus

Leading manufacturer of audio solutions and headsets for business professionals, Sennheiser recently announced the results of a new study into the use of audio tools. The study, conducted as part of an effort to collect market intelligence before the release of the new MB 360 headset, examined 2,500 employees across France, the UK, Singapore, Germany, the US, and Hong Kong. The company asked these participants how they use their headsets to improve productivity.

According to Sennheiser, the study revealed that 29% of office workers use headsets to help them concentrate. Headsets with Active Noise Cancellation technology help users to focus, according to VP of Product Management for Sennheiser, Theis Mork.

The modern workplace is in the middle of a significant evolution. Office spaces and work styles are changing at a rapid pace as companies attempt to create the most productive environments for staff members. Unfortunately, many people still struggle to work in noisy open-office environment, or even on-the-go. Sennheiser is responding to the new demands of the modern work environment with the MB 360 UC Bluetooth headset. ANC technology effectively reduces background noise, helping professionals to increase their focus significantly.

The MB 360 UC Bluetooth headset also comes with a talk time of up to 25 hours, and soft earpads for comfortable wearing. According to Mork, the average office space per person has declined significantly over the decades, with open offices on the rise. It’s becoming harder to concentrate without disruptions from coworkers.

Finding the Right Solution for Concentration

The new headset from Sennheiser is intended to support the demand for better concentration in any work environment. According to additional data from the Sennheiser study, which examined more than 2,500 employees in 2018 between the ages of 18 and 54 years old, found that flexibility is also crucial to the modern workplace. Professionals currently working in the evolving workplace aren’t always in the office. These people are also taking part in tasks from home and when they’re on the go. This means that they want to be able to switch easily between business calling facilities and music.

According to the Sennheiser study data, around 27% of the respondents said that they prefer to listen to music when they’re working. Modern headsets need, therefore deliver excellent call quality and a premium audio experience at the same time.
