Lenovo has released its AI-assisted ThinkCentre neo 50a 24 desktop for improved performance, productivity, and collaboration.

The new device is an all-in-one desktop designed for small and medium businesses.

Lenovo announced the launch of its ThinkCentre neo desktop portfolio earlier in the year to offer growing businesses state-of-the-art desktops for more engaging work experiences.

Sanjeev Menon, Vice President and General Manager, Worldwide Desktop Business at Lenovo, said: “Businesses need smarter, collaborative and secure PCs to meet the day-to-day rigours of new modern workplaces,”

“ThinkCentre neo 50a 24 will pave the way for more flexible and fluid spaces, driving new ways of working and creating new efficiencies and opportunities for businesses around the world.”

The desktop is powered by 12th generation Intel Core H-series processors with Intel Arc A370M graphics, running on Windows 11.

AI-based technology enables adaptive screen dimming, human presence detection, AI Meeting Manager, noise cancellation, and more.

The desktop uses a TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light, full HD, 23.8-inch display with a wide-angle view and a touch screen option.

Lenovo calls the design “stylish and minimalist”, and it includes the terrazzo brand colouring with a matt finish.

From a security standpoint, the ThinkShield desktop is compliant with fTPM-based security, port security, and BIOS-level protection.

Sustainability commitments are being met through the use of ocean-bound plastic packaging and post-consumer recycled content, and paint-free materials in the design.

Energy usage is further reduced by being built to use less energy. The desktop has an ENERGY STAR 8.0 certification, which demonstrates its ability to run with lower power consumption and maximum efficiency. It also meets the EPEAT Silver certification, which rigorously tests the product’s lifestyle against its environmental impact.

Customers can choose to opt into Lenovo’s CO2 Offset Service, which provides businesses with a means of funding projects to help the environment.

Productivity is improved with the desktop’s 16GB of memory and plentiful storage options for local data.

The bandwidth on busy networks is strengthened by Wi-Fi 6, which supports effective cloud collaboration.

The neo 50a 24 has audio by Harman, a retractable webcam, and an AI Meeting Manager, which provides real-time translation, subtitles, voice-to-text, Amazon Alexa, and a meeting notes editor, further aiding collaboration.

Using Lenovo Smart Appearance, facial features can be enhanced, and the background can be blurred.

Lenovo’s product range extends across PC, solutions and services, infrastructure, and mobile.

The company has a revenue of $70 billion, and it is currently ranked in the top 200 of the Fortune Global 500.

Lenovo employs around 75,000 people globally and serves millions of customers daily across 180 markets.
