There’s a new desktop phone in town from Snom, and it claims to offer the ideal blend of elegance and technology. Part of the D3xx series flagship range, the latest D385 desk phone is a sleek and powerful premium IP solution, optimised with handy features like a tiltable high-res colour display (4.3″) and 12 configurable function keys.

The addition of the Snom “SmartScreen” provides users with complete control over their desk phone experience, so that they can access all the crucial information they need quickly, including address books, call lists, and more.

Features and Benefits of the Snom D385

As the most recent addition to the D3xx series, the impressive D385 desk phone is packed with everything a business user needs to stay productive throughout the day. What’s more, the elegant design means that the phone will fit well into even the most high-end office environments.

Because all the keys on the Snom SmartScreen are equipped with multi-colour LEDs, they’re easy to see in a hurry, and there are 48 different entries available, so you can configure your phone however you like. What’s more, Snom HD voice quality is built-in as standard, complete with integrated Digital Signal Processor to enhance call quality in real-time. Primary features include:

  • High-resolution 4.3″ TFT-colour display
  • 48 BLF keys
  • Dedicated extension monitoring display
  • Improved GUI
  • Wideband GUI
  • DSP-boosted audio quality
  • 2-port Gigabit Ethernet switch
  • Power over Ethernet IEEE
  • USB headset ready
  • USB Wi-Fi Stick support
  • Built-in Bluetooth compatibility

Exceptional Office Experiences

Available throughout Europe, and from various Snom partners, the D385 is a powerful IP desk phone designed for a wide range of office environments. There’s even the option to extend the D385 capabilities that you get from the flagship model with the USB port-enabled D3 expansion module. The D3 expansion brings an additional 18 self-labelling and fully configurable LED buttons into the mix, complete with backlights.

The device can also benefit from the addition of a USB Wi-Fi stick so that you can ensure that your employees always get the highest possible level of connectivity. With a DECT USB Dongle port available, you might even decide to add the Snom A230 to use with other headsets and give your staff more freedom to use their phone in the way that’s best for them.

All the while, the integrated Digital Signal Processor ensures that you’ll get the exceptional level of audio that you’ve come to expect from Snom, complete with wideband HD support for better everyday calls.

The D385 desk phone from Snom is currently available at an MSRP of 270 euros.
