As the brand’s latest offering in its DECT headset series, Sennheiser claim their new streamlined, single-side wireless DECT headset offers much greater flexibility for the agent and delivers unparalleled, market-leading sound quality to ever call – but how much truth is there in these claims?
In order to find out, we’ve decided to do a review on the product and test how well it lives up to Sennheiser’s sterling reputation as one of the world’s leading producers of high quality audio equipment.
How does it look?

With its sleek, minimalist design and elegant black and silver finish, we can’t help but think how classy the D10 looks and, much like the Sennheiser brand itself, how it gives off an air of sophistication and professionalism.
We can also see the D10 can be worn in three different styles allowing agents to choose from a single-sided headband, ear hook or neckband for maximum comfort and removes the inconvenience of cables by attaching wirelessly to the base station.
What can it do?
One of the biggest benefits of the D10 is (you guessed it) its superior Sennheiser Voice Clarity. As a brand that is globally renowned for developing world-class audio solutions, the D10 incorporates many years of research and development to deliver outstanding audio quality during every conversation.
For the caller, sound is crisper, clearer and ensure no word is muffled and all information is transmitted without confusion; for the listener, a noise cancelling microphone ensures the clearest signal is sent through without risk of having its quality marred by exterior sounds.
One of the first things people look for in a good headset is reliability, and the Sennheiser D10’s extensive battery life guarantees up to 12 hours talk time per charge, thus ensuring no conversations are prematurely cut off as a result of power failure.
A wireless headset in every sense of the word, the D10 grants agents the freedom to roam around the office at distances of up to 55m within a typical office building and 180m within line of sight (making this a fantastic tool for large open spaced contact centre rooms).
Offering single connectivity, the Sennheiser D10 can connect directly to both smartphone and PC wirelessly and its conferencing feature offers a fast and convenient way to connect up to three additional guests to any call simply by docking the headset to the same base location.

What did we like the most?
Though there are many things about the D10 that impressed us, we’d have to say that our favourite feature was the outstanding audio quality that truly makes every conversation feel as though the person you’re talking to is stood facing you.
One of though most effective tools in business communication is the human voice and we believe that Sennheiser manages to accurately record the subtle nuances that add genuine feeling and emotion to every call.
Who is it for?
As we’ve touched upon previously, we believe that the headset’s superior sound quality, extensive reach and intelligent noise cancelling technology would make it an ideal tool for busy contact centre environments.
