Shure has announced that its MXA920 ceiling microphone and Intellimix Room audio software have received Zoom Rooms Hardware Certifications.
According to the audio equipment manufacturer, the two devices are certified for use when paired with the Shure Microflex MXN5W-C Networked Loudspeaker.
The devices have been designed for hybrid working and learning environments. They have expanded the company’s scalability, which is now able to provide Zoom Rooms devices for any high-rise conference room or classroom.

Shure views the latest certifications as a milestone in its sound technology. It explains that, in order to receive the certification, Shure had to undergo rigorous testing in lab environments. End-users can, therefore, be assured of the sound quality within their conferencing experiences.
The new flagship MXA920 includes Automatic Coverage Technology, providing audio capture control with minimal setup, which reduces installation costs and time for IT staff.
The MXA920 has also been equipped with Next Generation Array Architecture for improved auido pickup and clearer speech. Shure believes it is the best choice of array microphones for sound reinforcement applications, voice lift, and camera tracking.
The IntelliMix Room software provides a greater choice of audio processing power. IT has scalable options within the same software for small and simple to large and complex setups.
The software reduces the necessary hardware needed in meeting and collaboration rooms or classrooms, meanwhile offering excellent sound clarity without any echoes. There is also a ‘denoising’ feature which removes unwanted sounds like mouse clicking, tapping keyboards, etc.

Shure recently launched the Microflex Advance MXA920 Ceiling Array to provide high-quality audio in the workplace.
