The Plantronics Voyager 8200 UC is the California-based audio communications developer’s latest range of noise cancelling Bluetooth headsets designed to deliver impeccable audio quality and support mobile workers in any environment.

Offering stylish looks and next level features, the Voyager 8200 UC claims to help drastically improve a user’s communications experience and help businesses get the most from their UC solutions – but how much truth is there in these claims?

In order to find out, we’ve decided to do a review on the product and test how well it lives up to Plantronics sterling reputation as one of the world’s leading producers of high quality audio equipment.

How does it look?

Plantronics Voyager 8200 UC supports multiple devices

With its contemporary, boomless design available in both black and white, the Voyager 8200 noise-cancelling headset features a set of plush leatherette pads that sit comfortably over the ear and ensure the user can concentrate on their calls or listen to music without being distracted by the world outside.

What can it do?

Featuring dual paired omnidirectional microphones and enhanced noise cancelling technology, the Voyager 8200 UC ensures all audio captured is crystal clear and free from unwanted distractions.

Likewise, with the 8200’s active noise cancelling (ANC) speakers, users can enjoy high-resolution audio in any environment making it an ideal solution for workers on the go.

Moreover, the Voyager 8200 UC features an innovative smart sensor that employs contextual intelligence to detect when the headset is on or off to easily answer calls, play/pause music and mute/unmute the mic.

Thanks to its multi-device connectivity and wireless Bluetooth connectivity, the 8200 supports BYOD and can be used on any device of the users choosing for consistent cross platform coverage. As well as this, with up to 24 hours of battery life, users can continue making calls without interruption for a full day on a single charge.

What did we like most?

With the highly advanced noise cancelling technology, the Voyager 8200 UC means that remote workers can engage in calls from any location – be it on public transport, in a noisy bar or when walking through a busy street – whilst still maintaining crystal clear audio free from disruptive 3rd party sounds.

Who is it for?

As we’ve previously mentioned, this headset is perfect for remote workers and its luxurious aesthetic, impeccable sound quality and highly diverse set of features make it a perfect audio solution for both business and personal use.
