HP Poly has unveiled a series of next-gen AV solutions to enhance hybrid working experiences.
The Poly Studio Base Kit G9 Plus and Poly Studio G62 are two eye-catching new products; the former is a room solution comprising various devices, including controllers and AV equipment, while the latter is a modular video conferencing system.

More Details On The G9 Plus And G62
The Poly Studio Base Kit G9 Plus, designed for Microsoft Teams Rooms, is a next-gen solution co-engineered by HP and Poly. It features the new HP Mini IP PC G9 and Poly TC10 controller, connected via Power over Ethernet (PoE). This integration combines Poly’s collaboration experience with HP’s high-performance computing. The base kit can be paired with compatible Poly cameras and peripherals to suit various meeting room needs.
Select Poly devices, such as the Poly Studio V52 video bar, can be connected to the HP Mini IP PC to enable Poly’s AI-driven audio and video features, such as Poly DirectorAI Perimeter, NoiseBlockAI, and Sound Reflection Reduction. These innovations enhance meeting experiences, ensuring participants are seen and heard clearly without background noise.
The Poly Studio G62 modular video conferencing system is ideal for large and flexible spaces. Its modular design integrates with peripherals like cameras, microphones, and controllers for boardrooms, classrooms, and flex spaces.
With expandability for multiple cameras and microphones, the Poly Studio G62 ensures clear communication in large meetings. Sustainability is critical, with the system made from 80 percent post-consumer recycled plastics and 20 percent recycled metals. Setup is easy with flexible mounting options. Certified for Microsoft Teams, it’s also pending certification for Zoom and Tencent.
The Poly Studio Base Kit G9 Plus, designed for Microsoft Teams Rooms, will be available in June 2024 for $2,699. The Poly Studio G62 modular video conferencing system will also be available in June 2024 for $1,999.
Improved Control with Poly VideoOS and Extensive Software Management and Insights
The upcoming Poly VideoOS 4.3 software release will enable the Poly TC8 or TC10 to function as advanced room controllers. When paired with Poly Studio X Series video bars, Poly Studio G62, or the G7500 video conferencing system, users can conveniently access video calls and control various room settings, such as lighting and displays, from a single device.
This web-based capability offers greater flexibility, allowing customers to configure controls for an enhanced in-room user experience.
Additionally, Poly Lens supports the Poly Studio G62 and Poly Studio Base Kit G9 Plus, enabling IT teams to manage Poly devices remotely from a single dashboard. Poly Lens also now integrates with Zoom Device Management (ZDM) to deliver detailed room health status, enhancing efficiency, insights, and troubleshooting for native Zoom Rooms, all accessible through the Poly Lens portal.
Poly VideoOS 4.3 is expected to launch in June 2024. Poly Lens support for Zoom Device Management is now available. Additionally, the Poly Voyager Free 20 wireless earbuds, announced earlier this year at CES, will be shipping worldwide in mid-June.
