The Snom A100M headset is one of the Germany-based telecoms developer’s latest corded USB headsets designed to deliver impeccable audio quality and improve the efficiency of users in a wide number of different environments.
Offering premium HD audio and an abundance of high-end features, the A100M headset claims to provide a comfortable and efficient communications solution that helps users reach the best of their potential during every call – but how much truth is there in these claims?
In order to find out, we’ve decided to do a review on the product and test how well it lives up to Snom’s sterling reputation as one of the world’s leading producers of high quality audio equipment.
How does it look?
Minimal and lightweight in design, the A100M is comfortable, unrestrictive and features comfortable leatherette padding over the earphone to ensure agents can remain content and focused through the day.
What can it do?
With exceptional wideband HD sound and the inclusion of a flexible boom and passive noise-cancelling microphone, the A100M delivers outstanding audio quality and is a valuable tool to have for boosting user performance in conference calls, webinars and remote working environments.
Weighing only 56g (excluding cable) the headset is light as air and is ideal for agents such as those in contact centres who are required to wear the headset continuously for long periods of time.
In terms of mobility, the quick release adapter available on the A100M makes it easy for users to switch connectors and is perfect for use in multiple scenarios.
What did we like most?
For such an incredibly lightweight headset, it was rather surprising for us when we listened to the audio quality of the A100M and we were thoroughly impressed to discover that such a small headset could deliver such a powerful sound.
Who is it for?
Evidently, based on its lightweight design and minimal (albeit impressive) features, the A100M headset was designed for the benefit of end users working in environments such as contact centres or other telecommunications-based work-places.
