IP telephony specialist Snom Technology is celebrating two years since joining forces with the world’s leading manufacturer of cordless phones, VTech. The acquisition has allowed VTech to gain a greater share in the business phone market while enabling Snom to reach new customers and tap into VTech’s world-class manufacturing capabilities.

The acquisition has seen Snom fast-track growth – resulting in increased choice for the customer – with Snom releasing thirteen major products in the last two years. The D735, which features an energy saving proximity sensor, and the A170 wireless DECT headset are just two of the innovative products that have been launched since the acquisition. Snom’s global software development footprint has also grown with the business expanding its highly skilled team beyond its Berlin HQ to include R&D centres in Vancouver, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
