As one of the world’s most popular market leaders in cloud business software and UCaaS, BroadSoft knows how to deliver the services and products that its customers want most. Recently, the CCaaS (collaboration and contact centre as a service) brand announced that it would be delivering a host of brand-new enhancements to users of its BroadSoft Business portfolio.

The impressive new features were revealed at the BroadSoft Connections conference, which runs once a year for users around the world. During the reveal, BroadSoft commented that they would be using a micro-services business architecture, to provide customers with more engaging, relevant, and up-to-date app experiences for the DX (Digital Transformation) and CX (Customer Experience) era. Clients will now be able to access next-generation solutions across the Team-One, UC-One, and CC-One products.

A Strategy for Simple Collaboration

According to the CEO and president of BroadSoft, Michael Tessler, the latest series of updates responds to an ever-expanding need in the UC space for a more comprehensive collaboration offering, capable of combining everything from document sharing, to high-quality meetings and telephony strategies.

By putting interoperability and intelligence at the heart of their UC strategy, BroadSoft is hoping to jump ahead of competitors in the space who have just begun to talk about how collaboration can be integrated with other communication solutions. This is particularly important in a world where business users around the world continuously struggle to manage complex workflows through numerous high-tech channels.

According to some studies, the enterprises who know how to use mobile technology most efficiently, are the ones that come out on top in terms of creativity, satisfaction, and productivity at work. In other words, the more powerful and integrated your UC solution, the better your bottom line.

The Updates to BroadSoft Services

The BroadSoft structure now runs on a microservices architecture that offers a range of features like BroadSoft Hub and BroadSoft Meet, available on any application suite. For instance, BroadSoft Meet is a secure, and integrated meeting room solution designed to let virtual teams collaborate through HD video, voice, screen sharing, and messaging on any device. Now, this service can be accessed on CC-One, Team-One, and UC-One. The updates to the BroadSoft meeting solutions include:

  • Better mobile productivity for UC-One: UC-One is giving customers a more engaging and effective workstream experience, thanks to a new web app landing page that allows for the creation of custom user screens that plug directly into the mobile app. You can now access specialist solutions for specific verticals while ensuring you have access to all the secure messaging and calling you need from the UC-One strategy
  • Team-One Enhances Collaboration: The Team-One service has updated its collaboration options, with the integration of BroadSoft Meet for high-quality communication options Customers can also access AI-driven content in common, smart guest solutions, and more.
