The end of 2017 is almost here, and what a year it’s been. We’ve seen some amazing changes over the last twelve months, not just in the UC industry, but in the heart of UC Today too, as we’ve grown to become a bigger, stronger, and more effective source of industry insights for our readers.
The evolution that we’ve experienced leading up to 2018 has convinced us that we need to make a crucial change to ensure that we can properly address the audience we’ve been attracting.
That’s why between Christmas and January 2018, we’ll be introducing a brand-new name for CommsTrader.
The choice to evolve from “CommsTrader” into something new hasn’t been an easy one to make – but we felt it was the best way to make sure that we could continue building our brand in a way that truly suits our audience.
As you know, our mission has always been to create the world’s greatest community for unified communications professionals. It doesn’t matter if you’re a UC vendor, IT pro, channel partner, or end user, our content strategy is designed to meet the needs of you all.
Our first twelve months has been truly incredible, and we’re now tipping over 100,000 page-views every month! We’ve written more than 2,000 articles, and our audience has spread outwards from the UK, across the globe. Organically, we’re bringing in more UC enthusiasts on a weekly basis.
Of course, we’re not going to be resting on our laurels now that we’ve had a taste of success. We’ll be:
- Opening new regions
- Expanding our team
- Increasing our channels to include everything from digital events for our followers, to regular video webcasts and podcasts
Introducing UC Today
We couldn’t have achieved anything close to the results we’re seeing today without you, our loyal audience. That’s why we’re changing our name to better reflect what you want out of a UC community experience.
From 20th December, CommsTrader will become “UC Today“. We’ll continue to deliver all of the incredible news, updates, and information you’ve come to expect from us, but our new title will also reflect our decision to expand and broaden our horizons for the future.
You can find us now on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter using the handle @UCTodayNews
We’d like to thank all of you for your continued support and readership throughout 2017. Happy Holidays, and all the very best for 2018.
