Founded in 2003, RingCentral has since established itself as a globally recognisable manufacturer of cutting edge telecommunications solutions that have helped improve the communication of a wide variety of different business types across the world.

With this in mind, we have decided to write a review on one of the brand’s flagship collaboration tools, RingCentral Glip, to help determine the benefits it can bring to a business and decide which specific types of businesses would benefit most from its features.

Before we continue however, we must inform you that we are not trying to sell this product and this is an impartial review written by a team of professionals with years of experience working within the IT and Telecommunications Industry.

What is RingCentral Glip?

In the world of business, time is money and it pays to ensure that your company is equipped with the latest tools that ensure your staff can work as efficiently and productively as possible. With RingCentral Glip, your business is given a single, unified, online collaboration software tool that allows users to easily message, video chat, share files, manage tasks and collaborate with each other in one place, and even claims to give each user as much as 30% of their precious time back on a daily basis. Irrespective of where they are located, what device they are using to communicate and what time they wish to share or receive important business information, RingCentral Glip provides the perfect round-the-clock collaborative working environment that promises to bring individuals together and help them push forward to maximise the productivity of the business as a whole.

What can it do?

With its in-built IM and Video Chat Feature, RingCentral Glip allows users to quickly send messages to one another and receive answers in real-time to ensure productivity rates are kept to a maximum and information can be sent and received in a flash. Likewise, Glip also enables users to quickly set up one-to-one video chat or multiple user conferences where it is possible to share documents, presentations and collaborate live with others users from any location in the world.

By offering a Simplified File Sharing feature that allows users to easily upload or drag and drop files directly into live conversations, Glip manages to successfully streamline the collaborative working efforts of every user and makes sharing information faster and simpler than ever before. By doing this, the team can work together more fluidly and all information shared through Glip will be stored within the conversation windows for future reference should it be needed again once the meeting or one-to-one conversation has ended.

To help aid user organisation and ensure each individual is able to keep themselves up to date with their goals, the RingCentral Glip Task Manager & Scheduler features are a highly effective. With the Task Manager, users can easily keep track of upcoming projects and create tasks directly from the live feed, whilst the Scheduler enables them to check their and their colleagues’ availability without having to leave the conversation window.

Moreover, with the Simple App Integration feature, RingCentral Glip is able to incorporate all of the apps a team uses on a daily basis into the system to ensure users can easily access all the information they need without having to waste time opening up numerous apps and waiting for them to load in separate windows. This way, irrespective of which department a user is working in, Glip will provide them with all the tools they need to maximise productivity and ensure that business gets done with as little disruption possible.

What do we like the most?

With so many useful and innovative features, we genuinely found it quite difficult to pick just one. However, we have to admit that we were incredibly impressed with the fact that users are given a Task Manager and Schedule feature that allows them to easily check and amend their availability as well as setting up tasks, goals and reminders live within a conversation window. As well as helping users to keep themselves organised and ensure they are maintaining a productive work rate, in terms of communication and helping the team as the whole, these features allow all users to stay in tune with one another and create a much more collaborative working environment within the business.

RingCentral Glip Review – UC Today Opinion

As a highly effective collaboration tool that is heavy in productivity boosting features and is available online for use on any device and from any location with a working Internet connection, we believe that RingCentral Glip is a tool that just about any business can benefit from. As well as keeping people together and allowing them to easily share information in a variety of different ways, it also helps to ensure that each individual worker is able to maintain a consistently productive work rate and stay ahead of their targets to ensure they have the time and resources needed to reach them.
