Avaya is set to showcase the power of its composable unified communications and customer experience technology when GITEX Technology Week returns next month.

The event, which starts on 17 October and runs for five days, is one of the largest technology events in the world and gives attendees a peak of the technology set to power the future.

Avaya is a regularly exhibitor at the Dubai event and this year will place its API credentials in the spotlight.

Nidal Abou-Ltaif, President of Avaya International, said: “When today’s consumers connect with organisations, they expect experiences that are simple, seamless and easy to manage on the go.

“If the company they’re dealing with can’t deliver these experiences, they look for the one who can”

“With the Avaya OneCloud solutions and Experience Builders we’re showcasing at GITEX 2021, organizations are being given the composable solutions they need to re-imagine the experiences they provide and empower their employees to drive customer retention.”

Avaya is well along its journey as it transforms to a cloud-first organisation and recently reported its fifth straight quarter of revenue growth.

Its CPaaS offering and use of AI in particular have caught the eye, driving a double win at the UC Awards in August.

At GITEX, Avaya will be demonstrating its vision of Total Experience, achieved by composable technology to create enhanced experiences for both employees and customers.

This will cover a vast range of use cases, including:

  • Digital customer journey: Enabling banks to digitally onboard customers while meeting regulatory compliance –from social media advertising to webchat with a bot to onboarding
  • Proactive engagement in e-commerce: Integrating digital marketing with the customer experience, and composing with social media, knowledge management, AI, and CPaaS technologies
  • Proactive engagement to aid fraud detection: Bringing together an Avaya OneCloud core, AI, and APIs to compose a solution that automates fraud detection, orchestrates CRM activities, and authenticates users through voice biometrics
  • Digital patient care: The low-touch patient experience composed with AI-based chatbots, advanced apps, and Avaya Spaces and devices
  • The workplace of the future: Composing solutions to automate and personalise the employee experience, bringing together tasks, scheduling, meetings, reporting and more into a single pane of glass

Avaya’s attendance at GITEX comes at a time when digital transformation is moving at its fastest pace ever. The vendor’s research found that 71 percent of IT decision makers believe that COVID has accelerated the adoption of new technologies, with over half of companies increasing their investment in collaboration software.

Avaya will also be joined at the event by members of its global ecosystem of experts, partners and customers, known as Experience Builders.

Avaya can be found in Zabeel Hall at Dubai World Trade between 17 and 21 October, or via the event’s live broadcast
