CallTower has announced several significant hires for its EMEA leadership team, including three new Sales Directors and a new Sales Operations Manager EMEA.
CallTower is bolstering its presence in the EMEA territory with the strategic addition of Pedro Dias, Sean Blackmore, and Rick Sellers as Sales Directors. This move is complemented by the appointment of Giggsy Jayaweera as Sales Operations Manager EMEA. All appointees will report to Paul Holden, Vice President of EMEA Sales, as they navigate the company’s regional expansion.
Paul Holden, Vice President of EMEA Sales at CallTower, said:

Their extensive experience and proven track records will be invaluable as we continue to drive growth and innovation in the region. Having worked with all four new hires in previous roles at different companies, I chose them specifically as both the best in the industry and a great cultural fit for CallTower.”
Pedro Dias brings 18 years of experience to CallTower’s Portugal team, leveraging his expertise from prominent roles at BroadSoft, Cisco, and Akixi. CallTower highlights his strategic acumen and established client relationships, which are in harmony with CallTower’s mission. He will foster growth and partnerships across the EMEA region, focusing on Cisco-based initiatives.
Sean Blackmore will lead CallTower’s Microsoft practice in Europe, bringing his experience in channel partnerships and technology. His role will also encompass managing complementary partnerships, including Solgari, reflecting CallTower’s dedication to innovation and expansion.
Rick Sellers joins the EMEA Leadership Team to spearhead the Zoom team. CallTower says he brings his passion for customer engagement and a diverse background in technical and sales roles. His international experience, ranging from the US to Asia, equips him with a unique perspective and a rich knowledge base beneficial to CallTower.
Giggsy Jayaweera takes on the role of Sales Operations Manager EMEA, where his experience will enhance operational efficiency and productivity, improving selling time. He will collaborate closely with the EMEA Sales Team and integrate with the domestic Sales Operations to support CallTower’s global scaling efforts.
“As we expand our presence in the EMEA region, I am thrilled to introduce our dynamic new sales team and sales ops members,” added CallTower CRO William Rubio. “Their passion, expertise, and dedication will drive our success and strengthen our commitment to excellence in serving our customers across EMEA.”
CallTower’s EMEA Expansion In 2024
As Rubio outlined, CallTower is explicitly focusing on its EMEA expansion this year.
CallTower expanded its Operator Connect for Microsoft Teams telephony solution across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa in March.
Building upon its Operator Connect services in the US, UK, and Canada, CallTower has broadened its services to include Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland. This expansion illustrates CallTower’s commitment to enhancing global communications.
Meanwhile, Holden was also appointed earlier this year to oversee the burgeoning expansion.
