In the fast-paced world of technology and innovation, companies like DTEN always seek new opportunities to expand their reach and offer cutting-edge solutions to a broader audience.
In a recent conversation offering a glimpse into their newest activity and strategic vision, DTEN’s General Manager of EMEA, Doug Remington discussed the company’s EMEA growth plans, a new partnership with Redington, and upcoming presence at renowned Dubai IT exhibition GITEX.
So, what’s new and exciting with DTEN? Let’s take a look.
A Visionary Approach to EMEA Growth
DTEN’s journey in the EMEA region, particularly in the Middle East and Africa, is taking a major step forward these days. While the video collaboration solution provider has maintained a partial presence in the area for a few years, there has been a significant expansion in recent months.
“We’ve been present there for about three years, have had a Regional Manager – Ahmad Fayyadh – on the ground for a year, and the feedback we’ve been getting from customers has been nothing short of fantastic,” Remington shares.
“Our All-In-One solutions have been received so well that we recognized a significant potential for expansion with higher education and global enterprise customers, as well as domestic customers.”
Paying close attention to user feedback, DTEN resolved it was time to expand their reach and penetrate further into additional EMEA markets, mainly by partnering up with broadline distributor Redington.
Redington Partnership
The recently published partnership with Redington , a significant player in the Middle East and Africa, is a pivotal move for DTEN.
“The initial sales through Redington have come through just now in September, and we couldn’t be more excited,” Remington shares.
This collaboration adds additional dimensions to DTEN’s reach, as it “opens doors not only to AV resellers, but also UC and IT resellers within Redington’s extensive regional network,” Remington notes.
DTEN’s upcoming large-scape deployment with Saudi Arabia based Khair Inorganic Chemical Industries Company – InoChem is one of the first large-scale deals resulting from the new partnership, with Smartech as the integrator.
“Khair Inorganic Chemical Industries Company – InoChem will be taking advantage of the full DTEN product range, including video collaboration solutions for executive office, huddle rooms, and small, medium and large meeting rooms,” Remington shares.
“This will be done utilising our 27”, 55”, 75” and Dual 75” All-In-One solutions, with Schedulers and Controllers as well as our latest innovative camera solution, the Vue Pro.”
GITEX Presence
On October 16-21, the GITEX GLOBAL conference, one of the biggest tech conferences in the Middle East, will be taking place in Dubai; and DTEN will be showcasing their solutions there as part of the Redington stand.
“Being extremely broad, highly diverse, and IT-focused, GITEX is an ideal platform for us to showcase our wide range of solutions to regional customers and resellers,” Remington explains.
Specifically, the event will be a prime opportunity for DTEN to present their certified solutions for Zoom and Microsoft, which seem to fit extremely well in the area.
“We’ve seen our native ZoomRooms and Microsoft Teams Rooms certified products, which also support additional platforms through Guest Join or BYOD modes, accepted with great enthusiasm in Middle Eastern markets,” Remington says.
“GITEX will allow us to bring these solutions to an even wider audience.”
What’s Next?
In case you were wondering, DTEN is definitely not stopping here.
“We’re targeting to expand our emerging markets business in EMEA by five times over the next 18 months,” Remington shares.
As part of this, the company also plans to continue to deepen their Middle East and Africa presence, recognizing substantial growth potential in these regions.
