London-based Telecoms and Audio Visual solutions specialists City Voice and Data and City AVS have been acquired by Excell Group.
The takeover sees Excell Group take on both the full teams of IT consultants and field engineers from both organisations, plus an IT help desk. The operations will continue to be run by current management teams under the same branding.
The deal expands Excell’s operations considerably in the area of Audio Visual and is expected to add £30m in revenue to the business.
Both businesses market themselves as consultancy-based comms solutions providers. Alongside telecoms and technology services, City Voice and Data offers serviced offices and a well-respected ‘office moving consultancy’, which assists with technology decisions taken when moving operations.
City AVS specialises in a full range of business audio visual, from office meeting rooms and showcase areas, to full service marketing AV in high street retail.
